The only thing She will get for a while is just bottled water. I'm worried about her roots outgrowing their pot maybe.
Yea definately not a problem yet, but before flowering would go to a 5 gallon. Wait until shes really wrapping around the outside so you can pull it out in one big chunk dont wanna the dirt crumling that can damage roots and stun growth drasticly. Best way to do it would be tip put upside down grasping the stem base and just gently tap it should come out in one big chunk if its getting root bound. But well cross that bridge when we see pics with signs of it outgrowing her pot

Yea man when in doubt i just go with some good quality water. i hate giving nutes. Its always a risk so i always go real low with the first apps then slowly put more. But i think i got it right with this one the yellows gone shes really putting the buds on and no nute burn at all no drooping. Just water is the way to go

subscribing to your thread. spider mites are easy to clear with plane water when caught early. Spray the leaves really well, taking care to get underside. I like to do it in my shower, with the shower attachment hose. Drown those spidermites, a couple of times, they will leave. I have never needed chemicals, but spider mites.

Hes been using the bottled water so doubt thats a problem there. Buttt you may have a point on the lime. Very good thought, like i said earlier in this thread if using regular soil like miracle grow mix in about 20% dolomite lime and perlite mix to create airflow and make sure no nutes are locked out. Good call

That's exactly what I do. I take 'em to the shower and use the removable shower hose to spray 'em off real well. I only found a couple originally and I haven't found anymore since I treated for them. +rep for stopping by

I check my ph with a dropper kit and use genereal hydroponics ph up and down to adjust it. MY soil is MG with nutes already in it. I was using plain bottled water with no ferts from seed and it was growing beautifully. I added some molasses and botanicare's Pro Grow(this was 2 weeks ago) and fed it to them without checking the ph. When they looked unhappy the next day I checked the ph of what I had fed them and it was about 4. I remembered from then on to check and adjust the ph but I still fed them a couple more times with nutes added to their water. B/C there is fert already in the MG soil I think I burnt them the first time I added nutes then only made it worse by giving them some more on top of the damage done by giving them a sollution with a ph of 4 the one time. I also think durring this period I may have been overwatering as well. It sounds like I'm trying to kill 'em. LOL! 6 days ago I flushed well with bottled water to try and rinse a lot of the nutes outta the soil and didnt water again for 5 days to make sure the soil got to dry out well. You can finally see that they are starting to recover and grow again.

I have some news that will be greatly speeding up this grow be it a good thing or a bad thing. My parents who live outta state will be coming to visit me in March and will be staying in my house with me for a week. NO WAY CAN THERE BE POT GROWING IN MY HOUSE WHILE MY FOLKS ARE HERE! That just ain't an option. My parents would never understand and I'm not prepared to control the smell or to have to hide everything. It's kinda funny. I'm a grown-ass man with my own home and family and here i am still sneaking around trying to not get caught with pot by my dad. LOL I guess some things will never change! Anyway, what this means for me is that I have to go 12/12 SOON to make sure these ladies are ready to be chopped come March. December first will be the magic time change to 12/12 whether I'm ready for it or not. Regardless it's always fun and exciting when you make the change and start searching for signs of those very first hairs. Im hoping that they will be much healthier by the time I flip the lights. The real fun will be starting soon!

I checked the ph of my runoff today and it's 6.4. That sounds excellent to me for runoff, right?

Its tricky no doubt about it, sounds like your getting the idea though so just keep at it! Always start with 1/4 strength nutes and gradually increase if you don't see the tips burning. Also flush in between feedings. Keep your ph between 6.0-7 in soil, I've read that 6.8 is the best for absorbing the nutes.. I don't have any experience with MG soil but I would imagine your girl would still like a little nutes specially throughout flowering!

Thats good, keep it around that area and you will be golden. Just be easy with the nutes.
