What size is your tent and extractor? i saw a fan at the back of the tent if that's the intake it should be OK but if it's the extractor you probably need a bigger set up to run HPS, i like the led's but i don't think they're powerful enough to get to far down through the canopy i use a 125w cfl for clones and seedlings then 600w for veg and flowering, i also see plastic bags around the bottom of the pots if that's to stop dirt falling out of the drainage holes in the bottom of the pots try using trays and take the bags off the roots need oxygen and excess water needs to be drained, all that aside your plants look healthy so just some fine tuning and you'll be set.

Yep my thoughts - 3eyes. Take them bags off you have plastic underneath them. They need drainage and air down there. People are giving you great advice just remember that there is two sides. - I do, - I don't. The best way to find out is take the advice and try it. Example I clean at least the bottom third and the inside cavity some people will say dont do that. OK so experiment, try it on 1. I do it on half of my plants to see if it works. That's how you will see if works. See if you end up with the same result in both halfs, or just the 1. If it works do it next time. Being new you'll find out every strain is different, and it may not work on the next strain. You will get a knowledge based off of experience and suggestions. In the end isnt it worth it!

So my advice is listen - try - learn - succeed

You will learn more by trying than not trying at all

Keep it up - you have a good start man it is lookin good.

It'll take awhile to get your habbits down and the girls aren't afraid to tell you if what your doin is right or wrong

Check out those Ceramic Metal Halide. IMHO they are way better than a HPS.

Metal halide bulbs are primarily used for the vegetative stage, as their color temperature range is higher than that of high pressure sodium bulbs.
"metal halide lamps are now available with a correlated color temperature from 3,000 K to over 20,000 K." (Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_halide_lamp#Color_temperature)

High pressure sodium bulbs are used for flowering, as they have a much warmer color temperature.

Nice wikipedia links but did you see the Ceramic and look them up. The spectrum is more like a HPS. CMH are great.

People over on grow kind are saying hps is good. Especially if you get two 600's can cover a lot more room. Opinions?

Your clones probably don't need all that light. You only need a small cfl for clones, you're trying to grow roots, not leaves. Definitely remove the plastic bags from around your plants. Other than that, it's all one big ongoing experiment. If you are using leds, you might consider a scrog too. I use hps for flowering and I veg in a tent with a HO t5, works great. This hobby is an each to his own kind of thing, to me there is no right or wrong or you can't do's. I mean outside of doing stupid stuff like pouring bleach into your soil, experiment, experiment, experiment, you can only learn. Remember this, feed your soil as well as your plants and less is more when it comes to nutrients in this hobby. Your plants looks very good, whatever it is you're doing they look healthy.
