The ladies are bigger then they are strong at this point, growth is looking food so far... I've only given them some slightly ph'ed RO water thus far, nothing else but light and decent temps. Things were 63f in there tonight and it's supposed to get cooler, I installed the speed controller on the light hood exhaust (the new 6" sunleaves in-line blower) and dialed it back from blow your house down, to just probably blow off your front door... I'll check it before I go to bed and adjust based off of the new warmer temp I reach. The Special Kush #1 has grow so much over the past 24 hours it fell over.

TR - what's your humidity at these days??

coming in a little low @ about 56% (mid fifties), for plants this young 70-80% would be better from what I understand
you're exactly right - that's why I asked. At this age, it's the humidity that makes them stand straight up... I would try upping that first.

Very good then, any suggestions? I think I'm going to have to get another speed controller for the exhaust blower, the thing is sucking out all my heat, if I could cut it in half then I'd still get the air exchanged at a good enough rate and I still might be able to hold onto some of the heat the light is creating... things got as low as 55 today when the lights were off. Running in the low 60's when the lights are on and exhaust fan is on low

TR - I have a 20.00 humidifier from Target in my tent.... it's setting is adjustable so I can make my humidity anything I want! You might try that. You just have to be careful that when the ladies get big, you don't run it too high and create a mold situation. 50% is definately too low for the stage you're in.

Excellent idea, I just might be making a trip to walmart/target this weekend, I was hoping that I could get them far enough along that the low humidity levels wouldn't impact them, I know these humidity levels will be great during flower though :)
I frankly don't care at all if the only results of my low humidity is that the plants don't stand up strait in the beginning, I'm going to lst and train these girls into a screen before long anyway... things are going to be warming back up here soon, and with the temps the RH will return to a more exceptable place as well. Wish me luck!

I found this: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Hello-Kitty-Humidifier/10755959
This would fit in with my decor wouldn't it? :)

I went this morning and picked up the last things I needed (not including the little item mentioned above). I bought two more white 8.5 inch square pots and some lime additive to help keep my PH correct in the soil I'm now ready to mix. I also picked up a handy little 4x8 foot screen that is going to be absolutely perfect to do a ScoG with! I'm set! This Sunday will make the girls two weeks old and that means it's time for some big girl dirt! I will post again with pictures when I mix my soil which will be this weekend I hope.
Here is a quick recap of the mixture I'm going to use for a medium:

- Equal parts Fox Farms Oceans Forest and Fox Farms Happy Frog
- 15% Earthworm castings
- 10% Big and Chunky Perilite
- 2% Domalite hydrated lime
- A extremely light pinch of soil additive called Black Pearl, I can't find a link to it because it might be available promotionally only, this was given to me for free at the local hydro store. All it basically is is concentrated rock phosphorus and kelp extract.... it looks like any other plant food (small grey beads). It is organic though, so this additive is in keeping with the rest of my organic feeding regiment, I'll go over that in greater detail when the time comes, with this amazing little mix of items I shouldn't even need to given them anything but water until I flip the lights to 12/12

Ok here's a post a little early because I am wondering how much of either of these two substances you would put into your medium?
The Lime and the black pearl... also, the gals perked up a touch, I'm encouraged by the amount they have grown in the last week.... :)
Oh yea, buckets are 2.5 gallons or 10 liters!!

Thanks NoB!
