it's Frmrboi! yeah, that's pretty much what I've been trying to get at my entire week and a half at this site.. It's not rocket science. and you were also the person who grew at least 4 plants or so I believe in a single pot. I've stressed that my setup was better than a lot that I've seen on this site who have grown successfully with shit setups. my setup isn't really bad. it's just a really funny setup. lol. funny thread

I'm not really worried. I'll terminate the boys once they start showing. I'm not going to discuss ways to figure this out as I feel no need to as I'm just doing my thing and I don't need to worry about so-called experts that are arguing with somebody who just started planting, it's funny. but I feel smart... as they seem to be really strict and not know what they are talking about.

exactly what i did with my first plant was experiment:
-vegged for 7 months ATLEAST (probly closer to 10, and for no reason, just so i could keep fucking with it in the veg. stage)
-topped once
-LST'd Hardcore
-used miracle grow potting soil in a recycle bin
-had it under wrong spectrum CFLs
-had it under 400watt MH
-had it under 1000watt MH
-took only like 4 clones
-was fighting thrips
-was fighting spider mites
-over fed
-cutt too many fan leaves off
-light stressed many times
-had it flower
-put it back in veg.
-even veg. under 1000watt HPS on 18/6 becuz i had no room under the VEG bulbs (when i had 42 plants) lmao
etc. etc. etc. i LOVED that plant, never got to harvest anything from it tho becuz of mites over time tossed everything, it was too bushy and infestedlol
LOL, that's what's up. the experience you gained there had to be at least a thousand exp points. but yeah, lmao. how many grows have you done now?

some lady claiming to be a pro says that you can tell by the spacing of the leaves and others have confirmed it, but said it's about 90% helpful. and I've seen a thousand people say they just put it in 12/12 for a day or 2 anywhere from 1week-4weeks and it will show and you can go back to veg lighting. It won't stress and won't cause hermie if you do it for a day or 2. it'll only turn hermie if it's on 12/12 for a week and you go back to veg then it'll have a good chance of going hermie.
just going to take my time and not worry about it

If you leave plants in the vegetative growth phase long enough they will develop pre-flowers. Mine always do.
What the little clown shoe is saying is something totally different, it is totally absurd and that is why he said; "I'm not going to discuss ways to figure this out as I feel no need to." That is because he made up the claim about a botanist saying you can tell just three weeks in from seed and by growth etc. If he hadn't made it up he wouldn't have said; "I'm not going to discuss ways to figure this out." If he already knew, he wouldn't need to figure it out, would he?

The reason you will not discuss certain things is because you made up very general, very basic, very broad claims and you do not have anything whatsoever to rely on to back them up with and you know if you try to make up more you will only trap yourself, that you will only prove that you made up the things you have claimed.

OK .. you have read a lot. So, tell us a little about chlorophyll. That is a simple enough question. Is there one type, two types, three types, four types, five types, six types, or are there more? If there is more than one type what are the different types called and if there is more than one type how do they differ in their functions?
If you have; "read a lot of shit" the correct answer to that question should show up here in less than a minute.
Or will you just reply saying; "I'm not here to teach you guys?"

This is proper advice, heed it well it is the truth.
There is no way your going to be able to tell sex 2 weeks from germination, whatever "Botanist" told you that is full of shit.
Once you have correctly identified a male and a female marijuana plant the correct way ( Preflowers or pistils vs balls, pollen sacks) it becomes absolutely easy to do it every time. Marijuana is one of the few plants that openly shows sex.

I'm retaining all information... but if some of the information I've retained is wrong. who says so? I'm sure if I said some things that you said to other people they would give their advice and say it's a fact and they you are just an old loony.

lmao.. and i TOTALLY didnt know that about leaving ur plant in veg. long enough and it'll show preflowers on its own, NO IDEA.. how long does this take, could be why my first plant wouldnt veg. back (vegged it for like 7-10 months lmao) but how long does this take to happen in veg>?

a couple days. Another guy said that if you put a brown paper bag just over a part of a branched out plant under 12/12 you can get just that part covered to show sex. he said it shows in a few days and at the most it took him was 2weeks.
