The end is the old 4x4 that they came out of - and the other 2 are the new 4x8.



okay - so I'm having trouble uploading pics in the order I want them in. Anyway _ I'm off to hydro shop to buy another light... and more nutes. I will post more pics this weekend... I have been up since 6am setting up the new 4x8 and moving everything around.... All of the girls are over 5ft. tall now. Bring on the input guys/gals.

looks great hun...the girls looks a tad stretched but from what I"ve read on yours and GG13's journal SLH has a tendency to stretch unless trained. Which brings me to another question..you going to LST or scrog next grow..just curious I might try my hand at LST and see how it goes. Love the tent's though..look very solid...lighthouse right??

Wow, for a stoner you sure were up early today~

Pretty envious of your new setup, I must admit, that reflector is a beast. Although those DO look stretched, sometimes there's nothing you can do about it. The seedling I have growing was put into the flowering at about 28", it's the 3 week mark into flower and it's now nearly double that size, and with a 1000w watts you can't say it doesn't have enough light. I'm guessing you have about 7' of clearance space before you run into the lights. Those plants at that height are going to run into the ceiling when you flip the switch to flower. I recommend you top the hell out of all of the tall branches, you may also run into bud weight issues on the thinner side branching.

yes lighthouse - and yes I think I'm going to try my hand at LST next grow - because I'm nervous about outgrowing the 6.5 ft. height of the tents.... Lighthouse has a 2x4 I'm going to order tonight just for clones..... it will be my "tent city" within the garage. And you're right - there's some stretching... but for my first grow I'll take it... if that's the worst thing that happens...then wew hew!!

If the tent is a total of 6.5', the reflector must be about 6" deep, you're pretty much at the lights already. You may have to cut nearly half of the height off those plants before you flower. Think of it this way though, lots of VERY nice clones.

okay - and some of you guys have asked me to post pics of the new 4x8 so you can see where vents are located and such... so these are for you. Lighthouse Hydro puts a second "catch all" tray for the bottom of all of their tents - so there is the floor of the tent, and then the mylar tray also. Not all manufacturers do that.

t0rn - you're right - I'm at the top as the lights can't go any higher - and I flipped them on Christmas... so we're 2 weeks into flower right now! Too late for clones... I'm working on another idea.

Kiki just to let you knwo it's not too late for clowns...I read that if you clone within 3 weeks of flower you get a monster clone I"ll dig up pics if I can..ask torn though I told him about it.

exactly - that was my next idea was to tie them down, because I do have plenty of lateral room now that they're in the 4x8. On my way to hyrdo shop now and going to buy supplies for that very thing!

wow kiki your thread is very fast paced you gotta top & fem as early as you possibly can [right at the clone stage] to control height especialy if youre using a grow tent & e&f set-up this is where scrog really shines thanks for the compliments on my plants i turned light 12/12 dec.13 after putting seedlings in room dec.1st i didnt scrog last grow but topped,fim;d & supercropped for overall heigth of 36-40'' slh is managable but you gotta start early & work at it but rest assured it will reward you for your labor
