Yeah man..very first attempt. I guess there is something to say about prep work. I did a ton of reading, so much that I didnt retain all of it, and I still keep reading and investigating how to get the best possible grow. I appreciate the compliment, I am parroting what I learned..and have had great examples. This is a ton of fun and I finally have settled in a bit and am not so OCD about it. I tend to get very involved..lol. Thanks for stopping in mass!

dam arch, thanks for the kind words man!! you do make the lst look easy. i would do it more, but i like just letting the plant grow and do its own thing. well, i may tie down some braches to help with the height problem sometimes but thats it, LoL. did you ever see new bean, my first grow? i got just over 2 oz's off this baby. everyone said she looked like a pinwheel, LoL. in the pics. i had already cut all the buds off that grew on the bare parts of the stems.

So should I start counting my flowering days from the day I switched the lights or from when I saw pistils? I've never been really clear on that.

you put your plants in 12/12 to start the process, first to start sexing (if you dont know the sex) and second to begin the flowering process. then once you see the pistals is when you should start counting the weeks of the flowering period. well, thats what i do any ways, LoL. this is why i keep notes on everything i do, so i can go back and check to see where im at each step of the way. yeah thanks mass. she was pretty crazy looking.

Np CD...just giving it back where it is due. I love that plant! I think i do remember seeing it when I first joined this forum. Its all about results...we cant all have pretty kids and looks definitely arent everything. hell i say that every time I look in the mirror. I you took 2 oz's of her then you will get that easily from your current girls.

My chernobyl clones from subcool said flowering time 55-60 days.it was dead on from the point i started to see it was flowering.fdd 2blk sez you'll see a golden tint to your buds when there done.i watch trichs& watch the buds. You can tell when there done.i use the suggested flowering time as ball park as when to really be checkin'.

Yeah I watch the plant and let it tell me when it's done. I like a good 25% amber or a lil more b4 I'll harvest. I prefer a more couchlock stone.

hey arch, props to you man, and thanks for including me in that list of mentors, i'm flattered! i'll have put you up in my list when i start grow #2, lst arch-style. i know i'm getting closer to starting it because everything i look at (mini fridges, filing cabinets, trash cans, etc) looks like a potential cabinet, lol. anyway, you should definitely post your lst instructions here or in a new thread whenever you get a chance. i'm sure lots of people will benefit from it. your plant's looking fantastic bro, keep it up.

this is prob a crazy question cuz u prob said it before but what type of material r ur hooks made up and where can I get them? and what type of nutes & soil are u using?

Well..LOL..those that made my list deserve it. Lots of inspiration. To the new growers check them out! As for the LST...well all I can say about it is that you have to go with the plant. LST in and of itself is very simple. Your are using some form of restraint to train your plant to grow into a shape that fits your grow. I will be using it again on another strain and I promise you that Once I get a few under my belt, I will have an idea of how to explain generally how it goes. To me it felt like art..lol. Look an bonsai and you see the way it flows...LST is the same thing.

Not crazy at all...They are plant tie wires. It comes as one big coil, of so many feet. I bought mine at Home Depot. Heres a link and this should give you an idea what to look for.

I am using MG water control potting MIX..not soil...MIX.

I used nutes very sparingly. I have only fed her twice in vegging and not even once during flowering. I also use Grandmas Molasses. I have fed her three times with that. 1tbsp per gallon.

For all of the negative I have heard about MG, I am not sure what the hype is. I am sure there are purer forms of growth media that allow more tweaking with nutrients etc. For my first grow it has served me well. My girl doesnt lie..lol.

I will use something else next grow and it will be most likely the jungle stuff that CD is using.

Hope that covered it but please dont hesitate to keep asking. I will share what I know.

Arch, i dunno if you have a 99 cent store near you, but I got a 2 pack of those same plant ties for...99 cents! I've also seen 1-packs of those ties sold at OSH for 2.99, again, same exact product as 99 cent store...I'm using them too, BTW, and I'm with you, they're absolutely great.

P.S.-I Went to Fry's today, apparently my charging cable was broken, so they game me a new aftermarket cable. Stoked to have the laptop back!! Planning on getting pics up later tonight, gonna show the sick girl 1st time since her "accident"
