Day 44 of flowering, how much longer do you guys think? Trichome pics

Ok, so I took some trichome pictures of one of my Casey Jones at day 42 of flowering. I'm expecting another 2 weeks but I want to harvest when the trichomes are more on the milky side than amber. How much longer do you guys think, I would really appreciate it!

Also, I'm on day 44 of flower for my Grand Daddy Purple as well, the trichomes look milky already I think, but she just started turning purple 2 days ago!:-P Any comments and tips are much appreciated.

Oh and just this morning I noticed that 2 of the 4 Casey Jones females where leaning over, I thought it was going to break. I had to add bamboo sticks today. It looks like the flowers swelled up a little. Is this also a sign that the end is coming near?

Looks great! I actually have a jar of Casey Jones in front of me right now. A caregiver I know just pulled it and I love it! It looks identical to whats in your pic's, if dried and cured properly, you'll love the smell and flavor.

depends on the kind of stoned you want if you want a perky high start flushing and in 10 days pull her if you want a more stuiped and long lasting high wait 10 days than start flushing

Sappy is right, more time will give you a more heady high and less will give you a lighter more get up and go high. Do you have a lupe? the tri pics look ok but you cant see the color or cloudyness. With that strain, id say wait longer, the casey i had didnt do it for me, was kinda weak, might have been the grower. Anyway, they look good, +rep.............

DONT PICK THEM YET!!!! wait til atleast half of the buds have atleast 50%amber in color for a good buzz.. you have atleast 1 week or so to go

Close to the end of a grow is tough but youll be happier if you wait.. Its easy to take one sample that turns in 4 lol. Let em finish getn potent imo.
Early samples never give a good picture of the ripe dank cured version anyway! gud luck

Those are some tasty pictures you got there madcatter, it wasn't so hard waiting in the beginning but now it's so close it's getting harder and harder! I would love to see some more pictures! Thanks for checking out my thread.

I will conduct a photo shoot tomorrow... girls getting their beauty sleep.... I am growing some orange bud and some Trainwreck....
One thing I added this grow was some UV B bulbs... seems to be paying off....

Nice, I love the trainwreck strain but they grow so tall! As for the UV B bulbs, how are you using those with your HPS lights? I heard that a good thing to do is to add 100w of T5 2700k light for every 600w of HPS light. I was told that it increased the yield by 20% I was thinking of doing this for my second run. Anything to increase the yield i'm all for it!

I've had 5 + grand daddy grows n u can pretty much figure like clock work 9 weeks of flower n their ready, also just to let u know they should be super purple buds which happens the last week and a half of flower ! If u pull ur GDP to early u wont be happy !!! Just my thoughts

+rep daddywarbucks! This is my first time so that's awesome news! I'm on day 51 now, so it looks like I got about 2 weeks left.

Grand Daddy started turning purple on day 42 of flower so I hope she really turns purple!

Yep than you will have some stash and you wont be so antsy, and you can let the rest finish nicely.

Yeah she's really getting darker and darker! I squeezed one of the flowers and my fingers smelled like grape candy! I was shocked! I have a bottle of Botanicare Sweets Grape flavor but I decided not to use it this time because I wanted to get the true taste. I couldn't be happier!

I wanted to take a bite from the top it smelled so good! I can't wait!
