hey my plant has been veggin for about 2 and a half weeks. and it seems small. too small for that amount of time. Now i grew this from a seedling and not a clone so i know it takes lomger but i dont know what to compare it to. Can some1 give me an estimate. I will get pics of it up here later today.

I'll wait for the pic's... could be a number of things. How are you testing for pH?

no idea.. i dont have a pH scale. however the soil i got was about nuetral. And ive been using distilled/tap water so I dont see why it would change. I currently have 18/6 light time with one 120 watt grow room bulb from home depot and a like 26 watt natural light bulb. I have it in a 12 ft cubed box. I just put in a fan today since the stems on this thing is lookin pretty pathetic.

I'll wait for the pic's still before passing any real judgements... although if you have the time it would be a good idea for you to take a look through this site, there is lots of info'. HOME PAGE

I was thinking more in lines of you reading through the pH section so that you might gather an idea of it's importance. This is information you'll be hard pushed to find anywhere else. Here's a direct link to the page. PHds

It saves me a lot of talking... believe me as a first time grower learning about pH is imperitive.

na i know about pH, but anyways i was looking into some preveiws of the book Buds for less which i am now going to order. In the book are some pictures of a plant thats 14 days old and is like wayy bigger then my plant. and i think i have an outdoor strain or i made it stretch because its long and skinny with few leaves. So my plant is basically garbadge. I guess its time to debunk the problem and change it. I will post more detailed info on my setup including pictures so maybe you can help me out to figure out what im doing wrong

So you understand about pH fluctuations during the differing photoperiods? If you're that advanced you don't need my help.

I'm looking forward to the pic's... i'm sure i'll diagnose your problems with ease. I'll also need other info', light set-up, nute regimen etc etc.

You need to get a fan, have it blowing between the tops of the plants and the lights. The tops of the plants should blow to and fro and this will help the plant to strengthen the stem.

How close have you got the lights and what wattage are they?

What nutes are you using and at what levels?

What is the temp' of your grow area?

the lights are about 8-10 inches away from my plant. I have one 120 watt grow bulb and one 26 watt natural light bulb. I am not using any nutes at all. Until i find a natural alternative i dont like smoking chemicals. And the grow room stays between 68 and 75 degrees. I just put the fan in that the pic has about 2 hours ago so it wont make a difference just yet.

those bulbs are for animals cant grow get too hot and i dont think they have the right color kelvin get 6.k cfl for veg and 3.k for flower u get better results than using those
