folks, this thread has become totally insane! all you are doin is arguing about the company. why dont u guys argue something worth while?? like my plants and if its a WR or not. cause thats the real issue. dont ya think? Not the company, or the health/formation of the plants and or seeds. heres a pic of one of my so called lemon plants next to what i would consider a better depiction of a WR. the one on the left is the lemon.



is it possible to say if its a WR or not by looking at pics? to me the biggest difference is the smell. other than that it just looks like what it is. a pic of two plants. and they could be ANY two plants so whats a picture really prove either?

all i wanted from this thread was to share how things went for me with their seeds. i clearly said at the bottom that i hoped others have had a better experience and i would love to know if anyone else had the same one. all i got was people arguing with me about nirvana. not the plants and if they were WR's or not. or people sharing what happened. i may not be able to prove it, but i know something isnt right with my seeds. call me a noob, call me a bullshitter, call me an idiot, BUT IT DOESNT CHANGE MY EXPIERENCE ONE BIT. i still got these Pledge furniture polish smelling plants! i have seen and smelled quite a few WR's. thats why i bought the strain from nirvana. i was familiar with it. so when i get these plants that look nothing like what ive seen, and smell even further away from it, i cant help but think they got the seeds in the pack mixed up. i know there are different phenos, but not one damn person has posted on here that they have/had a WR that is like some of mine. and ill sure bet that a bunch of people on here have grown WR to say.

im sorry so many are offended by how some of us feel towards nirvana. do you really think i like the fact that i had a bad experience with them?? or that i am scared to do business with them? they are notorious for being A+ in customer service, fixing incorrect orders, fast delivery, and cheap prices. im so glad i can throw all that away just to slander a company and take all this shit from fellow RIU'rs. i guess thats what i get for posting something negative about a company that has atleast one advertisement per page. and is damn near the only company with any advertisements.

heres a pic of my hydro WR. shes a femmed seed and i cant help but say shes stunning. to me, this is what a WR should look like and smell like (if you could smell her, lol) .


To all those who posted something along the lines of “if u want consistency in your packs, shoulda bought from a better breeder”, thanx for reading the post completely, understanding it, and then answering appropriately. Ur comments were helpful. Will go back thru this post and +rep those.

so your saying all you really wanted in the end was to have people back you up in putting down the company? see what im saying is, you yourself are not consistant with your own post. you could have simply asked for a new pack of seeds and avoided all this, but instead, you chose to go on this forum with guns blazing out bashing a reputable company. YOU STARTED BITCHING. which i turn makes every single person headstrong with there opinion of nirvana. you would have had better luck by not adding all the hatred in your first post and just asking if anyone else had mixed seeds in there pack.

I have grown, or am growing 4 nirvana strains in the past several months. Jock, Wonder Woman, Snow White, and New York Power Diesel. I have had nothing but EXCELLENT yields, quality, growth, and durability out of those plants. The NYPD hermied a little bit as I water stressed the plant in flower, but it was totally manageable. On top of which it was my first grow. My friend grows head band, which I love. Side by side however, a majority of people liked the NYPD better. Nirvana has fine products in my opinion and from my experience.

I would recommend ordering a strain from them that is strictly a nirvana strain, not in competition with any other company (white rhino, white widow for example).

I wouldn't order Nirvana seeds anywhere but from Nirvana. I have heard several people having trouble with second hand seeds from banks. Order straight from the site, it is cheaper than attitude, and you get the full support of Nirvana, which is second to none. I repeat, second to none. They actually care. If your seeds didn't pop, or your seedling died, or you plant is f'ed up, and you ordered straight from the source, then you will be taken care of. If not, then you got burnt. Seeds are seeds, you never know what is inside.

"lemon pledge" plants haha you know if you were talking autoflower i would be quick to blame the ruderalis genetic but that is just odd.
u said "look mostly if not full indica. dont grow dense at all." usually indicas are dense that stretched out look you seemed to be describing with the "tiny, fluffy popcorn buds" is more of a sativa feature so who knows what happened.

That's not surprising .. you are both dealing with knockoffs and knockoffs are genetically different .. they are different enough that they are almost totally different strains .. they have all just been given the same name as the original name for Medicine Man, which is what Shantibaba renamed his original White Rhino.

Regardless of what name a strain is given if it is a knockoff it is genetically different and it can and it will look different and smell different and taste different and the high/stone will be different than the Real McCoy will. That's just how things are.

Yep, again, you are correct.
I knew that when I ordered them. What I don't know is what happened long ago that has you not wanting to have anything to do with subs gear.
This JTR I got from him is incredible. I haven't been on the scene long enough to know all the ins and outs. But I figured out that
something big happened on a different forum long ago and sub and his girl where trashed pretty hard. Just don't know the whole story.
care to share?

this is totally true. i know my white widow are not really ww, if i wanted real white widow i would have to order black widow original. white widow simply does not exist in its original form anymore. they are the white widows that are known today, but because of the pheno's, the experience is completely different unless using clones.

Nirvana had the customer's personal info and they would forward it to the customers local law enforcement agency if the customer would not stop complaining. but it did happen to someone I know so that tends to make me believe what others wrote on boards like this.

Do you or your unnamed friend have any correspondance from Nirvana threatening such action?
If not it seems like it is just another base for an urban legend. I am not trying to stir shit up but this site seems to have a lot of unfounded claims that endlessly fill these forums.

The story above just doesnt make sense. Why would a company half a world away bother to take the time or effort to try to get a disgruntled customer jailed. If said customer was a colossal pain in the ass they would just block that email and let it sort itself out knowing the customer has no leg to stand on because the transaction was illegal in the first place. A company using these tactics would not be in business long.

Yes, I must be of the lucky ones that Nirvana was good to, but I researched and knew what kind of a company I was buying from. As a noob Nirvana was right for me. I made my decision based on price and good reviews/customer service. I knew I could buy better seeds but as I was just starting out I wanted to test the waters to cut my losses should a catastrophic failure occur.

People, PLEASE.......Make your own decisions, you and only you can make choices based on your own experiences. Take what you read with a grain of salt and make choices based on what YOU feel is the right decision. These forums are filled with stories of friends, cousins, aunts, and brothers who have had problems and are rarely backed up with proof of the problem.

I've never complained with Nirvana.. never had a reason to. Always got my beans in a reasonable amount of time so I never had a complaint against them.. and I'm glad I did. Especially if what you just said.. is true.

I have had a germination issue, and it was QUICKLY and GENEROUSLY taken care of for me. The whole thing was my fault anyway to begin with. They gave my a credit towards my next purchase and extra seeds in the shipment.

Again always order straight from them if you want that service and support. Their shipping is awesome and comes at no additional "stealth cost" or what ever. You don't have to pay for a guarantee.
I did not end up threatened or in jail. That is either a) a rumor or b) old news or c) a story from another supplier named Gypsy Nirvana

i simply like nirvana cause in the end i just pay shipping and handling. with there promos like weedportal and shitter i get so many points i dont have to pay, plus i get points everytime i do order. i do wish they had a larger stock of strains.

I am and never will be a connoisseur of cannabis, but it is apparent from the lively discussion that we have a few onboard (that's a good thing). I am listening and learning and based on some of the comments none of us "seed purchasers" really know what genetics we are getting unless we have the original strain and are breeders ourselves (highly unlikely). Reliable does not mean perfection every time. The expert growers are after purer strains, I am new and Nirvana is good enough for my needs. Look at it this way, children from the same family are not exactly alike, there are similarities but some can be short, tall, thin, wide or something entirely different. All these differences from the same parents.:leaf::leaf::leaf:

seed boutique carries nirvana seeds, which i have had good luck with
gypsy nirvana has his own web site(no link, but many know about it)
he actually has posted a few good remarks about nirvana, no negative stories from that source that i've seen
you have to be cautious with seed/strain feedback, it's a cutthroat business with big bucks on the line
