ya know i tried the DIY vapes about 10 years ago and got made fun of... then i tried one again a while ago and really liked it. so i bought an easyvape V2 with the whip and the bag feature. i got to say i love the thing. i use it everyday! i love wake and vapes!!!! plus yes, you can take a bud off the plant and vape it. it does work better if you let it dry for a day... same goes for the trim.... let it dry for one day.
all good info, thanks :weed:

i tried a bag vape before, didnt like it so much. the one I made that I liked was like the vapor genie. Only problem I had was it took forever to heat it up and I would have burned up a lighter on a 1/8th :wall: thats why I went with the launch box, same effect, no lighter

stoney, how does it taste when you vape it a day off the plant? does the vape flavor also improve with time as it dries and cures? i've got a box-style vape, and also use it all the time. love it. still like to smoke j's every now and then though, different flavor and feel.

it tastes the same to me from the time i cut it off till it dries. it tastes a little earthy when i let it dry and cure. the fresh stuff tastes so sweet and smooth. the reason i say let it dry out for a day is that it takes a few vapes to get it going when it's too fresh. one day old trim or small buds get vapor on the 1st or 2nd bag, fresh stuff just cut takes 3 or 4 bags to get good vapor from it. and you really have to adjust your temperature depending on how wet it is. alot of people don't like vapes because it tastes like burnt popcorn, that's because they are using it wrong. if it tastes like popcorn than it is way to hot. it should have a smooth dry taste. when it taste dry like a very dry wine then you know the temp is perfect.

Indeed! I was having issues with my lungs a few years ago..I started vaping then. I totally enjoy the flavor and high that I get using it. Since its not smoke laden with tars and gunk and other cancer causing agents, the high is clean.
I have a V Tower vape out of canada...love it!

I have been tempted to purchase a vaporizer for some time, but there are two big factors that have hindered me from doing so.. First a good vaporizer is quite a bit and I already have 1 quality pipe and 1 quality bong and 1 quality hookah each costing from 50 to 150 and I believe in buying a quality item once at letting it last, so having already spent that much to put another $200-$500 in a vaporizer would be difficult for a penny pincher like me. 2. I still find with a quality vape the flavor is different than smoked cannabis and I get attached to the flavors of my reefer. My lungs aren't getting any better though so I suppose I'll eventually have to get one.

vapers unite! lol. good info stoney on fresh vaping. vape is is the old time vapor cannon model ( http://www.marijuana-picture.com/vapor_cannon_vaporizer.html ) with no digital temperature, so i play it by ear. works pretty well. e.g., today. lol.
once ya get it set it's good to go!!

did you guys ever put any herbs in with your herb? sometimes i like to add i tiny amount of lavendar or some fresh mint. gives it that extra zap to the taste buds.

Hippy, i hear ya we all need our lungs! but yes i will always smoke it to. love that taste!

ive never smoked out of a vape, sounds pretty cool though but it is a lot of money for for a pipe, LoL.

That is a sweet lookin bud!!!!! those other pics don't do it justice till ya see it next to the can!!! it's huge!!!! that sample bud looks so juicy!!! do you vape? there is nothing like the taste of fresh cliped bud in a vaporizer!
thanks stoney!! its getting so close, samples are still hanging, maybe test them tonight.

yes, i believe it lowers it some, might wanna make sure about that though, ive just been adding it to 6.8 water for the once a week feeding so i think ive been safe there, never have checked it after i mixed it in.

Do you still give the Molasses during the last 2 weeks when using plain water?
hey fly, you can use it all the way through the whole grow, even flushing. im not flushing this time though, i was reading on the fox farm site that with the trio, you dont have to flush, you can use it all the way to the end with no bad taste.
Will I get a chemical taste from the minerals in Grow Big® and Tiger Bloom®?
Absolutely not. Both formulas are made with high-quality fertilizers, micronutrients, and organic catalysts. You’ll never have to sacrifice flavor when you use FoxFarm products.

its day 89, the girls look great and i can hardly wait, one of these 2 girls will come down real soon as soon as i see enough amber trichs. grassy is doing good also, she's up into the lights now as i am out of room in the veg box. this is the longest ive veg a plant.

heres the test buds, you can tell the KK, it has that sweet pine smell, thr rl kinda smells like shit, i cant describe it, just a shitty smell, LoL.

also, do not pre mix the molasses!!!!!!! mix it and use it, this shit stinks so bad after a couple days in a closed jug!!!!!!!!!

Great Link gumball. Very good information!
yeah, thanks gumball. from what i've been reading, 1 tablespoon of molasses seems to lower the PH of 1 gallon of water by about 1 point (this is only approximate, it depends on the type of molasses and initial PH level). for those of us using the cheap-o drop color ph test kit, this is very useful info because mixing molasses makes the water dark and impossible to judge the PH based on the color. so, the idea would be to set the ph level of water (with or without nutes) to around 7.8, then add a tablespoon of molasses, and that should put it in the right range.

Dito! Adding just molasses drops my ph about 1 point.

I feed mine with molasses all the way to the end and I double my last dose from one tsp to 2 tsp for my last flush b4 the chop to fill the buds with all that sugary sweetness. I love the affect! But on my last flush molasses is about the only thing I'm putting in my water at that point. That and Black Magic. Great stuff but expensive.
