p90x

Yeah, one of my favorite hobby's is getting high then getting motivated to move fast enough to burn fat faster than I gain it by consuming Oreo's. Maybe like 1/40 of us work out regularly, and maybe a total of 5 people are doing, have done, or know someone who has done p90x, but I think you would have much more success discussing it at a bodybuilding forum.

at work we have the next spokes person for p90x. Bruce something, went from 400+ to 250 in a year by changing his diet, walking everyday and using p90x. but now he has all that extra skin hanging down. Hella nice guy though

There was a thread for p90x a few months ago. Just like everyone who tries it, they quit in 2-4 weeks.

You can't stay motivated to work out in front of your fucking TV.

There is nothing like a gym quality workout and unfortunately for a lot of the lazies out there, that means actually going to a gym. P90X is just appealing to the lazy crowd that doesn't want to leave their living room and frankly, that lack of motivation to stay healthy is pathetic.

yea motivation to work through the delayed onset muscle soreness is really hard :P And im sorry if, not really needing an additional bill in my life to get an effective work out is pathetic to your standard. but i did just pick up some bowflex select tech 1090 dumbells and im interested in a work out plan that can utilize them with out the need of gym equipment.

Those dumbells you purchased are the same price as about 18-36 months at a gym that you'd not only be more likely to use, but would get more value out of. Cheers to fitness but your 'not really needing an additional bill in my life' argument doesn't hold water.

In two to four weeks, you'll never touch your bowfarce tardbells again.
Workout equipment at home are for the days your gym is closed.

Petoskey man drops 150 lbs. in a year
Now a 'Million Dollar Body' national contest finalist

A year ago, Dan Bruce, 23, of Petoskey, looked at the scale and knew he had to make a change. He didn't feel good about himself and realized he was headed down a road of health problems.

Today, a year later, Bruce has dropped 150 pounds and hopes his inspirational story will help him win a national competition.

"My mother died in October of 2009. Just before she died, she sat down with me and told me she was upset that I just let myself go. I was the biggest I ever had been at that point -- I was 370 pounds," Bruce said. "I was more hurt by the statement than understanding -- I didn't take it to heart at first."

But there was something about his mom's words, her disappointment, that Bruce couldn't shake from his mind.

In January of 2010, Bruce decided he was ready to make a change. He wanted to make his mother proud and he also wanted to feel better about himself.

"When I first started eating better, I really didn't have a plan, I just woke up and was sick of feeling like crap," he said. "Before I used to go to McDonald's every single day and I didn't want to feel like that anymore."

Ah, I see what's going on here. Instead of buying a 3 year gym membership, you chose to spend $130 on a DVD set and $400 on dumbells and now you want some affirmation that you've made the right decision. Well, you didn't. Good luck  .

just because you're too lazy to work out at home doesn't mean the OP is. not everybody has to use your method.

I have dumbells, a curl bar and a bench bar I use on the regular to keep me fit for my physically demanding job. People who go to the gym IMO are the ones wasting money and usually just want people to look at them.

Hahahaha I say that every time I look over the bill... until I show up to my second home to work out and train with the awesome people that are a part of my second family. I skip other things to go to my gym.
