Same principles apply as to all areas of germinating in nature....1 pollen grain reacts with one stigma and calyx. Multiple types of pollen can pollenate one plant. I assume that the cells can also split to create twins, which in my experience can contain different phenottypes within the one seed. However, in this case it will still hold the saem 20 chromosones of the parent plants but would be in a different order. IF anyone wants to go and check Thelma and Louise on my thread as an example.....
