catch any fish? also some people give a veg nutes a few weeks into flowering to save all the leaves. I did like 4 weeks in only once.

oh and saw your response about lights. I have been reading into lights a lot and for people who want potency I feel like they tend to flower with Ceramic Metal Hallid 400w or LED panels. both of which run cooler than HPS which is nice for summer. Just a thought. HPS has a better yield but supposedly isn't as potent as CMH or LED cause of a fuller spectrum. CMH bulbs run on magnetic HPS ballasts so all you have to do is buy a CMH bulb if you still want an HPS system to try both.

hey smokey, i can tell you that my flush definitely helped. they looked more vigorous and even smelled better after the flush . took a long time though (8 gallons of water, 1/2 gallon at a time, ph-adjustments, chloramine treatments, probably over an hour of work!)

flushing does take a long time.... the bigger the container the longer it takes!!!!

It's weird just the big older fan leafs are turning yellow and dying, the leafs with the flower are just as green and beautiful as they can be so maybe a flush and lil bit of veg nutes to help the older fan leafs'?

That is exactly what i would do. flush it!

ok stoney i just got done "flushing" her all I did was use tap water have been useing it the whole time not adjusting PH or anything(fingers crossed,I know homer PH's his h2o do you has well?) and now she weighs a freaking ton!!! lol all that water....I hope I did it right??? have no clue what I am doing had the wife pouring water slowly while I was in the shower holding the pot about 2-3 inches off the drain in the shower?

many people will tell you to PH every time. i don't every time. maybe every other time or one out of three. chances are if you have been giving this water to your plant the entire time it is fine! I have a well, and when it rains a lot my PH goes up a little but nothing to worry about.

but when you flush you want to give it at least twice the amount of water as the container size is.

smokey, your girl is looking great bro!! i think the flush was a great idea. and if you wait a couple days before giving her the veg nutes, they will probably absorb better (at least that's what i gather from the "make it rain" technique). it took me forever to flush because i was ph'ing the water, otherwise it would've been much easier. i guess you could measure the runoff and check if you're way off or not. either way, i think you did the right thing and the "yellow" should start clearing up very soon!
