hello. i am a fan of movies (more so horror and mystery/artsy/dreamy) as i am sure many of you are. like the tittle says, this is about strange movies and worse.
i know a lot of posts have been given to movies. but, they don't cover my needs and or vibe i may be looking for, although this may just be stoned ramblings. i do have some recommendations and would like to know what others think are twisted and/or bizarre.
for today, i would like to recommend.
'eXistenceZ' by david cronenberg. cronenberg is a fucking awesome artist. strange movie. makes me question reality on a certain level. see it if you can.
revolves around a game that merges into your neural pathways in the spine. it brings you into the games reality.
'antichrist' by lars von trier. strange movie. i like william dafoe...but there is some fucked stuff in the movie. everyone should see it. some very graphic sex but its not set in a pornographic manner. revolves arond a couple who lose their child and how they deal with grief. still not sure what i think about it. not for the faint.
'the forbidden zone' by richard elfman. awesome movie. has danny elfman as the devil. mystic knights of the oingo boingo provide the music in this curious film. it revolves around....dimensions....hard to encapsulate this one.
if you can see any of todays three....see anti-christ. i would like to hear others feedback on the movies. or if you want to recommend something else. or wana talk about how stoned you have to be to watch all the 'guinea pig' movies. hahaha
