The reason I add the butter is because it makes it easier to stir and fit everything to soak and the butter won't burn. Also it separates very easily in the frig, also it gets a lot of the crap out.

Thanks about the plant!

I think for this plant I'm going to put everything into half a stick of butter and see how it goes.

thats kewl works for you i turn on low flame no burn that way yeah the water will seperate last time i used sweet cream butter with strawberry diesil trims shit tasted so sweet and creammy was a good spread for toast made the house smell sweet too

I was afraid it would taste bad just on toast, or does it just taste like normal butter.


Temps outside have reached 85* and my box hit 95* and this isn't looking good hahahaha. Hopefully this next week will be in the 60s outside and I'll be able to chop the Purple down by the end of the week.

Anyone have an easy solution? I have some extra cash but I'm not trying to throw too much money because I'm about to harvest and not going to grow in similar conditions in the future.

gd, purple diesel is looking very nice man! looks nothing like the purple diesel i grew last year, but such is life with phenotypes and whatnot. i never got any purpling. but it was (and still is) a great smelling bud. you're gonna enjoy it! wish i could give you an easy solution for heat other than more fans. my box was hitting the high 90s toward the end, not good. gonna have to improve things in the future. anyway, shit's looking good bro.

Ya man I'm not sure at all what it is, just trying to guess off of its characteristic haha. Anyways ya its going to be colder and hopefully with the 11/13 light cycle it will finish up a few days quicker and thats also 1 less hour of heat. I think I'm going to throw her into darkness Friday or maybe Monday, I"ll see where she is at in a few days, seeing a lot more purple and a lot less green. Thanks for the compliments guys.

Just ate a rice crispie with cannabutter made from Ice strain. They are very very potent, I plan on being completely destroyed allll day and night. Peace out guys.

So just wanted to show you the kind of bud I manage to find in the midwest when I don't have my own to smoke anymore. This bud I think is called Swiss Cheese, I've been going to the same dealer/grower combo for awhile and thats usually what the grower grows.

Its a hydro setup in Kentucky somewhere. Usually get a half O but he was almost out and I was out (saved 2g to continue to cure)... so ya.

All you medical patients can go suck one haha, jealous I can't walk down the street to my local convenient store.

nice grow dude...........i just wanted to add that i regularly make cannabutter but as of lately ive only been making canna-oil,using olive oil and vaped bud......i find the oil to be much more potent and also has more uses than than the butter.....it also seems to last much longer

I am very interested in this. i use much more olive oil than butter... would you mind sharing your technique of making it?

The purp is going into darkness tonight. She's almost out of water, there is moisture in the lower sections, I might give her a little molasses but I don't want her to be all wet for 3 days of darknes ;)

Ill have pics later today most likely, anyways I think I overcooked her a bit on the triches haha, just started to find some ambers in a few spots but its localized so probably burns from spraying whoops. but its entirely white so 3 days of darkness will be perfect.


I also got a quad of some GOAT and Bluecheese, even better than last buds. I'll have pics of the plant and a nug or two later today. I'll have to try that oil sometime sounds pretty good. Had a brownie yesterday and the guy said "split it with a buddy or you will throw up" We ate the brownie and it lasted for over 8 hours of a real strong high. Ate it around 2pm and felt it this morning. Got the quad off the same guy.

I have a picture of a closeup so you guys can try and see the trichs. When do you think she will be ready? I was thinking of putting her into 3 days of darkness either tonight or really soon.

Also that nug is some of the GOAT I just got, its a lot more crystally in person. He made the brownies from it too :D

Unexpected company is coming this weekend so I needed it dried and start curing by Friday. Chopped her down a couple hours ago after about 28 hours of darkness and the wet weight was 65g but almost no stem and trimmed very well. I think it will yield the most.
