Nice, man. They will rock with their new setup! Had same idea on the Stanley, looking forward to seeing how it works for you.
Indeed, my blower is about to ship, and my light will be here tomorrow. I can't WAIT to get all that SHIT out of my grow room. It's so annoying having stuff, and cords and lights and shit everywhere like that! Once I can clear all that shit out of there, i'll have to much room to more around and water them and see how beautiful they are. They're in cramped conditions themselves.

I'm sure i'll miss the bulb coverage though. I didn't do any LSTing since i had such good coverage, didn't think ahead to the fact that my HPS will be 1 light from above, and that the lower node's and budsites won't get nearly as much light as they are now with such total coverage. It's the ONE redeeming quality about the setups complexity!

Ok, been in flower for a few day, and I already CAN'T WAIT to see some buds growing. I'm getting ready to do some foliar feeding with FloraDuo Bloom Nutes in the recommended amount specified by the FloraDuo Feeding Chart.

ALSO, I have built some DIY Co2 Generators. I purchased some "Highly Active Yeast", drilled some holes in the tops of 6 empty water bottles. Then mixed equal parts yeast and sugar. Then I filled the bottle about 1/3 of the way with water. Shake and that's it. Only 1 over flowed ever-so-slightly, but it didn't get on anything, it actually just stopped on the top of the cap. The yeast smell is strong. It's ACTUALLY close to overpowering the smell of the plants :-P.
The 6 couldn't possibly put out enough Co2 for the levels to be to high, and while they might not be the best producers of Co2, but the way I see it is, if breathing helps, and people encourage it, then why wouldn't these little co2 generators help? If it can't hurt, and they cost about 1.50 to make them all, why wouldn't I?

C1 is approx 20 inches tall now. And so she's gonna be almost 3 ft tall by the time she's done, if not more!
The rest are between 19-16 inches. They're all well, and the problems with the bottom leaves aren't so bad. In fact, I haven't seen any new leaves with problems popping up.

Will most likely be watering with pure water tomorrow. And will do a picture update then if possible.

Til then, stay tuned for updates. ;-)

I also use to do the DIY yeast bottles in 4 2liter plastic bottles. It got to be a hassle having to keep up with it so I ditched em. I now use the mycellium mass shit that naturally produces C02 called ExHales. I've got 4 of em & I think they work great, I just don't know how much c02 they produce, but I think any co2 is better than none.

i wonder what kind of mushrooms those bags are inoculated with ^^^ you can make those kinda cheap if you know how to grow the mushies. hmmmm i think i may try making some new grain jars and put then in the closet. but what strain to chose hmmmm lol.

I thought the same thing, find the type of mycellium & make your own. I've never looked into it because It seemed like to much work & I'm busy enough as it is. It would be nice to DIY though, save alot of $ and produce tons of C02 naturally.

I know exactly what you mean. For 2 days after making them, I couldn't smell anything but yeast no matter where I was or what I was doing. But that happens to me often, I get smells stuck in my head and it takes days for me to get over it. (I'm prob just imagining it too...)
For some reason, the smell of yeast reminds me of pizza...Most likely cause I used to work @ Domino's (couple years back) and you have to hand toss dough there...

ANYWAY...

So, I got my HPS strung up, shes up and roaring like a beast! My clones are well. Despite my horrible inability to keep them in a stable environment...I need to get some new soil and get them out of the party cups already...they're little party cups so I doubt i'm going to use them much longer. I'm debating move the clones into a veg cycle again and attempting to grow something out of them, or if I should continue to leave them in the flower room. I accidentally left them in there one night and again the next and the next and the next. They've been in there for 3-4 nights now. But instead of the HPS, i've got them under sunlight during the day for about 6-8 hrs for the full spectrum effect.

Is it just me? Or after dealing with grow lights, HPS, MH, CFL ect ect. Somehow the simplicity of and POWER of the sun is so.....nice...
And after using 18x CFL's surrounding 5 plants...I'm SO glad not to have to deal with moving plants and lights constantly. I was in there every couple hours checking them to be SURE that they weren't getting burnt...I hate seeing those little burn marks on them. There are no more burn marks, (far as I know). I'm gonna get some video, and for my actual records, I need to get some pics. But they're going to look very...red. :-P. Flowers should be coming in about a week!

Anything would beat the smell of yeast.
This co2 stuff is great, but like you said, it's hard to keep up, it needs more water and more sugar every couple of days.
Oh shit...which reminds me...I better go check and make sure they haven't bubbled over...

hahaha. All is well, but I think my S1 has a question...her 4 fan leaves on the top are reaching almost strait upwards....she's got 4 hands in the air. But I suspect it was the pure water she's enjoying. After 5 days without water, she was quite wilty. But it was good, I needed to ensure the soil had dried out.

On a completely separate note. I have Lavender, Rosemary, A number of herbs, and a number of flowers. Also green onions and white onions. It's not gonna take care of the smell, but it should assist in the masking it. I intend to use a simple DIY carbon filter. 2 carbon pillows directly on the intake It will slow down air movement, but since that HPS put out about the same amount of heat that the CFL's (combined) did. It was an especially cool, and windy day today. It hovered around 70 all day. With a nice cool wind blowing through my room. Today was an exceptional day for growing!

yall can use almost any kind of mushroom to make those bags. i'll be using 1 of my 5 mushroom strain i already have when and if i decide to try using them for co2. you'll need to make a glove box, buy a pressure cooker, and something like rye grain or millet, and of course spore print or syringe. or just clone a mushroom from your local grocery store. if you use prints you might want to buy some agar also. your temps didnt go up after adding the hps?

Yup, every domino's hand tosses dough in store for EVERY pizza. It's a pain in the asssss. The hut has them premade and/or frozen. Round Table has big dough plates (I would kneed it and use giant cookie cutters to cut out the right size for them. Either way, it just reminds me pizza.

And no, for SOME REASON, the HPS hasn't raised temps in the slightest. In fact, it is an unusually cool couple days. But it's actually a little COOLER in there. It's nice!

Alright everyone, GREAT NEWS!
I've just received the OK to setup my veg room. The Grow has now come (i'll wait for my first harvest to truly consider it such, but...) perpetual! I'll let my clones veg in my closet for 1.75 months, then move them to flower, just as these are getting done. And from these vegging plants, I shall take clones for the NEXT crop as well.
But before i really consider ANYTHING perpetual, i'm waiting for my first harvest and first buds. Speaking of buds. My purp #1 (S1) is beginning to show her first buds it's TINY, but it's what is in the first pic in my previous post.
But my crop looks SO good without all that shit surrounding it anymore. Unfortunately, i'll be putting my vegging clones under those same CFL's under a tripod. But since they're so young they're only getting 6x 23W 6500°K 1600 Lumen bulbs. Will update soon.

Every 2 months hopefully. 2 months til the buds in flower room are done, and 2 months til the clones here are ready to flower. Then hopefully, another 2 months until the next batch of clones is ready. But since I can only have 8 at a time, i'm thinkin about growing some new strains. But I DEF wanna make some seeds of this MK, I just need some good pollen to cross it with. Once I do that, i'll be able to trade some seeds with someone. I'm anxious to try some fresh genetics. But i'll def be growing at least ONE MK plant for the forseeable future. But we'll see where things go.

Thank You, Thank You!
Great stuff so far man. Definately sub'd. I don't have enough time to read through it right now but will when I get home. But before hand, what did you do to make your c02? Just sugar, yeast and warm water?? Also do you have a hose running out of those bottles or just a hole on top? Thanks ahead of time.
