i knew i wasnt the problem! haa thanks buddy, i used for my seedlings, miracle gro seed starter, right now im using the organic choice.
I going with the rock wool. I already got 2 grows of it paid for. Its a lot cleaner! And faster! are there nutrients in organic MG? Cuz that would be a cheap way to grow. I'm grow on my ssi disability. And cheaper is cool.

@the forum owna. i personally said fuck ffof i got brown spots and yellow leaves from this shit cuz i heard so many ppl say its good so i got me sum. same day i transplanted they started to turn yellow, spreaded out more, then brown spots i threw that shit away and got me some MG. and to the ppl who are going to talk shit,no didnt feed it nutes,my water is good so it was the soil and no im not a noob, doesnt take a genius to grow Mj
lol but you are a noob apparently, sorry, just really seems that way. Plants don't get fucked the moment you put them into a new soil, even if it was a hot one. I suspect what you really had was deficiencies or some other pH related issue from your previous mix and couldn't leave well enough alone\wait long enough for things to resolve themselves.

Plenty of people even claim to start seeds directly in OF without issue. Personally I start with a soil-less mix and transplant into OF, but either way I can say with a high degree of confidence: OF didn't fuck your plants up, especially if your plants were at least a couple weeks old when you transplanted them.

If you're going to be growing in it without transplanting for more than a couple weeks (as in final transplant) you probably want to add more dolomite limestone or crushed egg-shell. How fast it goes to work depends on the particle size. Micronized dolomite should go to work within a few days or so, definitely within a week.

I am on the East Coast and never had problems with OF. You certainly can't blame Fox Farm's for gnats; those could have come in from anywhere especially if where you buy from stores soils outdoors.
I'm not necessarily blaming fox farm, the bags where bought from inside a hydro shop though.

I used the Soil Dr. lime from Lowe's. First gave them 3 tbs each water or feed and it wasn't coming up so last feed I put 1 cup mixed in the soil. I have 7 plants the ph rose a little higher 4 were 6.1 , 2 were still 5,8 and 1 6.0. this is in a 5 gallon pot. I going to add maybe another 1/2-1 cup next watering. You can dissolve it in water put I think that could be to much at once other people grind it up but that's not necessary cuz it dissolves in water. DUH! Here is some before and after's!:wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall: :wall::wall:
