That is a cool grinder you have!! i like the beveled edges. looks really easy to just spill it onto a rolling paper without it falling everywhere!!!

glad 2 hear u got ur AK bak. that bud in the grinder did look amazinggg. im hopin my AK-48 comes bak to life sooo i can grow it out.

Thanks Van!! it is a Nikon Coolpix 7.2 MP. It is at least six years old!!!! The biggest highlight it has, is the WIFI. I can take a picture of my plants, send it to my PC and by time i get there it's on the screen!!!! one of my tricks is, if the macro zoom won't focus that close, I back off a few inches and use the zoom. only use the optical zoom though... the digital zoom makes it look bad. focus on the part you want and keep a very steady hand, then just snap it!

as for the trimmed bud pictures, i cheat a little... I use a small tripod i bought at the dollar tree.

I traveled a lot, years ago for my job. and i got some really great photos from places all around the world. I guess i just have a knack for it.

those presses are great dude!!! a couple xmas' ago, my woman was making cookies and I put my press in the oven for a few minutes to get all th trics to stick together... and from that night on we have called them kief cookies!!!

as for my cures, I use an area i made to keep males alive. it is just a cardboard door on an area that already had three sides( a corner of a room with an entertainment center side). with a cardboard roof and a fan in the roof with a carbon sheet over the top. I don't use to grow in so I dry my buds in it! i let the buds hang till they are dry on the outside... just before they get crispy. then I jar them for about 12-15 hours. then i take them out and set them on a tray till they dry out a little more than they were when i put them in the jar to begin with. then I put them back in the jar and burp them regularly. and because i smoke so much i start smoking them as soon as they are dry enough.

Let me know how they work!! I saw a gnat while getting the CFL's out and was gonna go to the hydro shop tomorrow and get some organic pest spray but if that works will save me a 45-60 minute drive there and most of the time it takes longer to get back?!?!?

smokey check out the mosquito dunks. i sprinkle it on my soil and rarely see any gnats.

Thanks so much dude!!! the best i can say is it's all the focus. mehfocg on te bud itself... if it is focued on the leaf it doesn't look near as good. and always use the flash.

Thanks Hammer!!!! I got some new bug spray last night. Every friday I hang out with a few other local growers to drink rum, shoot pool, and talk about growing. I told them my problem and the guy gives me his spray bottle and said here, use this, it works perfect.

It is garlic, jalapeno, and a few drops of soap. If it didn't have soap in it, I'd spray it on my food!!!

I'm gonna do a heavy inspection today, and spray them.

I put some of the vegging girls outside today. because of my mite problem I have had the exhaust fans turned off and my RH has been through the roof. mites also hate humid places, so this was the 2nd punch. for the knockout I'm going to use the spray my buddy gave me yesterday. I inspected them closely and i couldn't find a single mite or egg. I think once i spray them and put them back under the light, I'm going turn the exhaust back on and consider my veg box bug free!

Got nothin going on tonight, so I'll be watchin the races!!!! I'm gonna head out now to a local garden center and get some vegetable plants for my garden, then stop at dollar general for some grow supplies!! and pick up some chinese food on the way home! the best part is, it's all five minutes from my house!!!

Hope you got them mites good, but I have heard several growers say it is very har to "get rid' of them. Maybe check out some foggers. If your interested I can go get you a few reputable products that work. Them girls do look great out in the sun, dont you wish they could stay out there all year

Well I have great news... I WON THE WAR!!!!!!!! i beat those pesky critters!!!! seven days later and I can't find a single mite or egg!!!! i looked at every freakin leaf on every plant with a bright light, and I saw nothing!!! I then bleached the entire flower box down. floor, walls, ceiling, all scrubbed with bleach and soap and dried!! I put in a new floor liner and put all the girls back inside and turned the exhaust back on. I will keep a very close eye on them in the next 5-7 days, but I'm pretty sure i got em all!!!!!! I didn't even need to use my buddies spray, so i have no idea if it works or not.

yea, they would be nice out there all the time!! I'm gonna put those auto's i got for free outside soon. maybe i can get a little extra out of it!!!

The super skunk is doing great, has grown one stem out 6 inches, but she is still in reveg mode so it is somewhat slow. I am going to put the plant I harvested last week out for reveg in the am. Plus I got some good seeds off her. I wonder if my CS maybe got on her and worked

I'm glad to hear your reveg took!!! mine took a couple months to get back to full growth again.
