how tall did you wait till you flowered the TD? im at 1 foot vegging but i want to make sure i get some big ass buds, any suggestions (im working with about 300 watts) great grow by the way!!!

The nugs are starting to fatten up even the sativa dominant Tangerine Dream is looking good and starting to fill in. The Sativa dominant tangerine dream is going to take the longest but is going to produce a shit ton of dope. I hope they get dense and fruity. Any suggestions or comments ?

Thanks Brother, the DWC buckets and cold temps help with the frostiness. I use very little nute, and have only changed my DWC buckets three times throughout the whole grow. I think removing all the buildup, does harm rather than good. Four water changes per cycle. I agree The Afghan Kush Special is fucking ridicules. SO far it is blowing the Tangerine Dream out of the water. But Tangerine Dream has quite a while to go, so hopefully she will catch up. I like the flowering period and bud prsentation on the Afghan Kush special though. World of Seeds has great genetics.

thanks man. I think next round might be just Afghan Kush Special. My tangerine Dream might be just my outdoor strain this year. Next round is 12 buckets.

Beautiful grow. How are your water temps in the dwc? Are you putting in any frozen water bottles or anything?

Water temps have never been a problem. Buckets are super black, painted about 5 coats. I add two gallons every four days. of fresh water. They literally drink till there is about 1 inch of water then I add two more. I clean out the salts on the bottom once or twice per plant cycle. I never fully clean the buckets though. I have a lot of air circulating in there so it stays pretty cool.

So looks like the Afghan Kush Special is almost done. Under a week. Going to start giving her water only and take her down next week. The TD's need a a couple more weeks at least. Indica looks like it might finish before the sativa pheno. Looks like it might fill in as I had hoped. I am glad I stuck with DWC, the system is effecient once you dial it in. Hope everyone is enjoying the grow.

job well done boss...what r u using for air circulation in the buckets???Was gonna do buckets but keep seeing people have probs with build-ups and im a noob so i went with hempy buckets str8 perlite works wonders for beginners...but wanna do buckets next round with scrog it works and produces alot more..How r u able to keep it so cool in ur room ac??

Well my room is in my basement. The basement is actually like 15 feet underground so that helps it stay kinda cool. The buckets and lids have 5 coats of jet black paint. This keeps it cool. I have a good can fan and carbon filter too in the room at the ceiling level. This not only scrubs the smelly air, it also pulls a lot of hot air out of the room. All my lights are attached to the exhaust so all the hot air from the lights gets sucked out of the room too. I have two intake holes in the room too sucking in cool air from outside. I never go over 75 even on a blazing hot day. I have a large airstone in each bucket. I literally let my girls drink all the water in the buckets, literally I look inside and see like an inch of water. Once per grow I will clean out the salts at the bottom, other than that I just add water and nutes (lucas formula) when the plants get low. Easy. Most dudes empty the whole bucket though. It takes time to dial it in, but once you got it, Easy Street.

Nope decided to let the afghan kush special go longer. Great plant i will try to post pics later on today. A few observations. Tangerine Dream. The indica dominant phenos buds are rock hard, smaller than the sativa but freaking dense as all hell. The Sativa dominant pheno is really starting to dense up this is awesome as I thought the bud would be light and airy. They seem like they are going to get hard, not as hard as the indica but not airy. I am curious who will be the top producer, the super dense, soil Tangerine dream indica pheno, or the dwc bucket, super plentiful sativa pheno tangerine dream. Either way I have babies of all three. I am going to put two of each outside this week. and start my next round with all Afghan kush special, I think. I will let you all vote on it towards the end. Which is near. Pics up soon.
