Uncle Buck and Dan Kone are left extremists. They are basically the Left's version of Rush Limbaugh. That tells you how valid their views are.
Ron Paul represents most Americans, he is a classical liberal. He believes that both your money, and your private life are yours. If you are curious just what party you might be the most closely related to as far as ideas, there is a survey called the Nolan Survey. It asks you 10 questions about the most common political issues. And it gives you a score and tells you where you are. Here is the link:

Well can we at least agree that this country is failing. I served for eight years and was proud to say I fought a war on two fronts (Iraq and Afgan). I have become VERY angry that my friends died for lies. All I want is for Americans to be taken care of before anyone else. At this point I could give two shits about any other country, I care about my own and that means YOU. Shit vote me in LOL

Then you might be interested to know that Ron Paul is against american intervention such as Iraq/Afghan, Ron Paul is also the only veteran, Ron Paul is also leading in veteran support.
That means shedding both the Democrat and Republican way. Obama obviously isn't any better at not starting pointless wars than Bush was. Ron Paul is running as a Republican, but its obvious he isn't one. He is Libertarian, just as a huge percentage of Democrat and Republican voters are.
Even if your Commander in Chiefs wasted your commitment on frivolous acts of war. Thank you for your service to the country. Your service is appreciated, respected, and honored by those of us who understand why you did it.
Ron Paul has almost 40 years of political experience. What is so different about Ron Paul? Ron Paul never goes back on his beliefs. Ron Paul has voted the same way for 40 years. Ron Paul will vote against something he morally believes in to protect your rights and freedoms. That's right, he realizes that even though something is not right for his life, you have the right to choose to have it in yours! The Government is not responsible for your life, and should not be allowed to protect you from yourself. This means you get to choose your path in life, not some authoritarian ruler in a giant white house.

To be fair to Ron Paul, he does support ending all the wars and only using the military for defensive purposes. Although so did Obama before he was president. Becoming president seems to change politicians views on military use. Maybe the temptation to use the power of the American military is too great for presidents to handle or maybe they just have access to info we don't and are making decisions based on that. Either way, it happens.
The reason I object to Ron Paul is because of his far right extremist economic views. On money issues he's farther to the right of even Reagan. I think eliminating the safe guards that prevent Wall St bankers from ripping us off is a bad idea.

As I said in the other thread, using the political chart carthoris posted...Ron Paul is at the top half of that chart no matter how you score him, the american people are on the top half of that chart, the politicians sit at the bottom half of that chart - this is the gap between the people and the politicians, Ron Paul is up top with us while his opponents sit at the bottom of this chart sucking fortune 500 cock.
