Darkstar, TH Seeds.

Has anyone grown theirs out yet? I planted 3 of the 4 i got from the promo, as well as 2 HD fruitys hoping to get a male, no male, all females and one HD hermie. I started these in lil 20oz cups, and they are a couple feet tall, still in the cups... If space is an issue for your normal strains you do, you def want to downsize your pot for these. I normally use a 6 inch pot, and the BUKU in a 6 inch pot is still several inches shorter than the darkstars.

I am growing 1.... I started it 2 weeks ago, as I didnt really care and wanted to find out if the seed was good or not because it was kinda deformed looking..... It popped, and the plant is def growing showing signs of deformity.. It grew the 2 first set of 1 leaf'ers normally, but then the second it just grew BOTH fan leaves on ONE side of the plant, and the other side only had 1 leaf.... and it grew pre topped, as I didnt even top it, and it's growing multiple shoots..... Lets see if it fixes itself out.... Hope it's a female, but wouldnt mind a male, as i dont really have much room anyways ..... I'll try and post a pic...

i definitely dont have the room since they all came out female and take up so much room. but i got it all squeezed in there.. I have one thats a little deformed, mine are about 3 weeks into flower right now. The deformed one doesnt look like its getting as fat as the others, but it has a few shoots at the top. Maybe like what your talking about. Ill try to take a pic of it later, shitty cam but it may show it. So far the biggest darkstar looks like it may outproduce the hd fruity, but theres still several weeks left.

look at how this leaf is connected as 1...... weird..... and self topped... healthy though..

Has more of that Mazar I-Sharif on it than Purple Kush look to it though.....

Just about 12/12 from seed with 2 90 degree bends.

To be honest i've heard nothing but absolutely awful things about TH seeds beans. Nothing but hermie stories, although someone said that the darkstar was the only one that didn't, so fingers crossed. Last watered it 3 weeks ago

Yea, one of my darkstar looks like that at the top... Its not getting as fat on the buds as the other two.. No signs of hermie on them, and the HD fruity that was didnt waste any time, it sprouted pistils and within a few days was covered in balls... Ill try to get a pic of all three of them

I've got 2 bukus (about to be 1, growing to slow), 3 sages, 1 heavy duty fruity goin.

I have 2 darkstars I'm gonna pop this week but my last rotation was full. So far they are all growin fast except for that 1 buku and the 1 hdf that didn't pop

all the branches hug the stalk and are growing straight up

There only 9 days old. The sages are growin fastest.

i have a sage and kushage going also, their kinda staggered by a few days to several weeks.

Itll be nice to compare the kushage to the emerald jack and see which sativa i like with the og kush better.

Heres some pics of the darkstar... The shortest one and the non-mazar looking one have the same growth, but different size. You can see where i had to tie one of the shoots over at the top on the mazar looking one. You can also compare the size of the buds growing between the two.
I took a picture of the darkstar next to my buku and the end, and there are a few pics are of the buku..

sorry for really poor quality of the pics, the phone was set on a resolution acceptable to send messages, and i dont really feel like retaking them atm after stuffing them back into the box. I can prolly retake one or two of em if needed with a little higher resolution.

Looks like a bit of N overdose. Just a tip, all the tiny claw leafs that never grew cuz of the N toxcicity, I would cut them all off. They are always gonna be fucked and you have plenty of foliage.

It will make your life way easier come trimming time and new leaves will grow to replace them, plus it will let more light in.

Other than that they look good. I assume your already cutting back on the N since ur in flower?

Yea, they dont really get many grow ntues being in 12/12 from seed.
Prolly put to many of my trimmed leaves from it and other plants in it then, because i dont put my trim in the trash, it gets decomposed in a flower pot. . Wasnt sure what was causing the claw leaf, i knew it wasnt a defeciency. Ive just given it water the last few times as well.

O yeah I've had em look exactly like that its from excess nitrogen.

They will grow eventually if u cut down on the N but they will always be clawed like that. in my experience its better to just cut em off.

Great color to the darkstar! Hope my changes. When did yours change color? Id say mine are about half that age in flower.r
