----- And So It Begins -----

As the title of this post says it all. I just got the beans that I ordered and I'm doing the seeds placed in a bowl of water

----- BC Ice -----
05 - Germinating Seeds.jpg
Flowering Time - 8 - 9 weeks (49 to 63 Days)

BC Ice is a great indoor plant, producing a powerful aroma and dense buds. The compact buds are covered with heavy crystals. First time cultivators will find this strain to be good starter variety. Strong plants with very minimal foliage making it an easy harvest. A classic Ice high can last a long time.

Update

Hey all Well its update time. As I said before I filled a bowl of water and put the seeds in it to germinate and 24 hours later I got 17/17 that germinated so I am very happy.I decided to do 1 in a DWC setup since the guy at the hydro store says its almost like growing in soil but its in water but also because I got 17 seeds when I ordered 15.

I was looking at my seeds today and most of them broke ground but because they were having problems shedding the shell and the film that was over them they stretched so I helped them out and took the seed off them and the film and they are nice dark green and already have the 1st set of true leafs showing. I took a close up pic of what one of them looks like.

Here's some update pics. Now don't go telling me that they are stretching and that I need to move the light closer because I already know this. The seedlings are for cloning reasons only not flowering.

So today I went out to a Electric place and I bought a 70 HPS , 70 HPS Ballast and a 70w MH and MH Ballast. Then I went to my local hydro store and bought a cool tube. The guy says that I shouldn't have to run a fan because its a 70w bulb that I am using if I leave both sides open.

I wouldn't sweat the Co2 until you are ready for it. You can totally rock the fuck out without Co2 though! Don't even worry about it. I've never even seen a 70w MH in a grow room before, let me know how that goes. Aren't those Peat Pots great??

Yea I might go with it later on down the road. I'm planing on doing a SOG flowering method. I saw a video on youtube that's by Mr. Green and he had his plants in veg grow about 2 feet tall in 2 months under tube florescent lights.

I haven't either. While I was at the electric place they have MH and HPS lights that go all the way down to 35w so I light say screw CFLs and go with the 35w MH lights for veg if they have the ballast for them.

Yea I love them. The 1000 pack cost almost $100 but the store down the road's 1000 pack is little more but they have a 2000 pack deal for around $150.

Hi Toolage, just stopping by to check things out. Are you going to move the plants to another area for flower? Are you also sticking with the lights you got or do you have something in store for flowering? I see you got quite a few seedlings so I guess they are regular seeds (i.e males and females)

Good luck with it all. Will keep up with your progress bru.
