NEED Some expert ADVICE soon please!!! Bananas on day 47 into flower.

Ok so I've been dealing with this BS he/she crap from the beginning of Flower. No more bag seed for me... Any way plant looks great buds are good size but was hoping to flower for another 10 days. Last lite feeding was yesterday.FF Tiger bloom. I Don't see any of these bananas on any of the other plants....
Ok so my question is should I just cut her down now? Pluck those damn bananas and keep her going? Could those few flowers have just pollinated the hole room? How long do i have before seed start to form? Ill post a picture soon......

you will most likely find at least a few seeds in your crop, which are feminized but also have a high chance of being herm as well.
your best bet is to try and remove any banana's from your plants and keep on truckin.
if you can quarantine the plants that have banana's away from those that do not, then do it. like yesterday!

Well I plucked all the bananas I could see. There was 8 in random spots like in the picture. Damn things popped up fast.

Thanks.... Glad to hear there is no time to form seeds... Harvest day might of just got moved to this weekend instead of next!! I'm so over dealing with these he/she's....

I say give it another week or two, watch and see they will swell up.
just pick the bannas again before harvest and I bet you end up with 20% more buds.

Whats another week or two. I've come this far I better just continue on for 20% more buds. Thanks for the advice man!!!

i feel your pain man , shit happened to me 2 harvets in a row now , had some bag seed along side of a autoflower diemos plant and the bastards pollenated it :( only got 10 seeds out of the whole plant though so i kinda feelin like its not so bad of a thing...hoping they kept the autoflower gene and are fem lol gonan test them soon.


no more bagseed for me either though i learned my lesson...just about to harvest an ak48 / bubblelicious in about eh 2 weeks 3 weeks max so im super excited for that...the transistion from bag seed to commercial strains is nice...so much trichs compared to my previous bagseed plants its disgusting lol feel like i wasted way to much time...


good genes really do make a that much a difference. good luck bud! happy growing :)


edit: that is one hell of a nice looking plant though man , props to you.

You must remove it from the grow room. It will pollinate the other females, seed them and then they will also smoke up like crap ,just like the hermie. Not sure why u would leave it in there for another2-3 weeks. :wall:

not that i question your knowledge, but what about my statement was wrong?

if you think hermies ALWAYS produce hermies. then you sir are wrong period...

i have first hand experience growing seeds from hermie plants that matured into wonderful full fledged 100% female plants, and without hermie tendencies.
and they produced GREAT smoke.

anyway, my suggestion was from first hand experience, ive grown hermies and plucked the bananas off of them, and had great smoke with VERY FEW seeds in my entire 784 gram crop, in fact it wasnt until another medical friend who had bummed some smoke from me found a seed or two within one bud that i ever knew any of it had seeds. that was after personally smoking about 10 ounces by myself and NEVER finding ONE SEED...

by the way a feminized seed is produced when a plant pollinates itself.

weather you use colloidal silver or your plants herm, the results are still feminized.

even if hey do have a high chance of turning herm.

hermie plants carry hermie genetics. you don't get "feminized seeds AND some hermies". you get hermie seeds with some females in it. probably a bunch of males as well. might as well stick with some soild regular seeds at that point. why risk bannas at week 4-6 of flowering? males show themselves much earlier. ;)


NEVER work with hermie genetics. hermy genetics carry hermy GENES.

there are female plants out there that will NOT hermy. you have to search to find them. you grow out a shit ton of females and then start stressing them out. by creating stress you will cause the hermie traits, if present, to appear. not all plants carry hemry traits. find the stressed females that do not hermy. these are the plants that you use colloidal silver on. then you use the pollen created to pollinate another non hermying female. you now have "true" feminized seeds. ;)

growing out hermy seeds and getting some females is NOT feminizing.

a HERMY seed is produced when a hermy plant pollinates itself.
