they probably see us for what we are, destructive and intrusive
Your right, thats what we`re doing. But I don`t think thats what we are
And here goes the almighty rant
There are some interesting viewpoints to this. Once you start looking at life on earth as a "biosphere"... like a level like atmosphere. Coupled with the fact that species work to sustain other species giving the biosphere its character which is behind the theory that the planet will destroy us if we don`t contribute to it etc etc..
I like to look at humans as the ultimate product of the biosphere. Our minds are the most amazing trick life has came up with so far. Rather than other organisms which have adaptable skins or ability to migrate to more suitable places we just have the ultimate.
We have the power to transform this place back to the natural flourishing self it once was. We can spread life throughout space and fertilise other planets.
But then again, this branches into what this actually is about. Are animals and humans seperate? I don`t think it matters if we kill every single animal on this planet. We are carriers of the force of life and as long as we work to spread it then the goal is accomplished.
I think at the moment we are a little too preoccupied with our ego and pleasure centers though
