Quick question, how long should I veg a WW for? I'm in a 5 gallon pot, with LST for 4 nodes. Approx. 5 weeks into veg now, under 250 watt hps. I'll post the last photo, taken 3 days ago.

However long you like. There is no set requirement. It's entirely up to you.

OK, I read somewhere that vegging too long may result in stressing to the point of a her ie...any truth to this?

i dont think so. mothers r in veggie there whole lifes. so its just up to yuh how big yuh would lyk ur plant and yuh grow space.

No truth to that. You can keep a plant in veg theoretically for over a year if you have the space, which most don't. I am growing WW and vegged for 3 weeks before I switched them over to a 12/12 light cycle.

Its my understanding from what I have read is that you can keep the plant in veg all it's life if you want, I think every year it just starts its cycle over. If you want it to veg longer it should not stress the plant at all it will just make her that much more developed and provide more room for those beautiful buds to blossom on. =) g luck

Cool, is the yield dramatically increased with a longer veg phase? I.e, if I veg 12 weeks, as opposed to the recommended 8 weeks, would 1) flower phase be increased and 2) would yield increase as well? ( even if flower phase is not increased)

Oh, I forgot to mention, I've plenty of room, and just this one fem WW...I'm a patient guy, and i m not grow-for profit guy. I am strictly personal, looking to obtain a maximum yield, without sacrificing too much ( if any) potency. I hope that was useful info.

Cool, I accidently topped her off three days ago, when I last LST. Is this going to be too much stress?

Nah, the LST I'm cool with, I accidently topped her while I last LST, ya think the combo is too much? I've seen the new growth coming out near the topped sight, but part of it, and the part of the axillary branches are starting to turn black in color...kind of like a bruise on the stem of a shroom...

mine have always loved it is seems like. haha maybe its just me but it seems like it grows better that way hah probably cuz ur giving the whole plant enuff light so reachs its full potential just feed it what it needs and let nature take its course and always stay positive with what ur doing will work.

It was almost three days, now...at around 3 pm, it'll b three days ....yeah, like a purple ue on the branch, and definatly black around the topped area. But the green is starting to forge its way out...idk, I'm sure it'll all b well.

just go with ur vibes.if yuh think its gona work out and be fine just let it b and nature will correct it... people mostly mess things up worst with trying this and dat when all it needs is to just let it be and let nature fix itself and just to b safe i would wait to LST if yuh r having a problem with the top just wait for that to fix itself and then lst

ima newbie that just started i have 2 4inch pots my meduim for now is mg and my nuts or genaral organics i need help my seedling has been growing for like 3 weeks going on 4 i havent gave nuts yet but im thinking bout doing it today my plants are about 2-3 inchs or 4 inchs high im growing (for now) under 4 cfl 26watt bulbs i want to swithch 2 a hid soon can some one help me out please and i also have foxfarm light warrior but i haven't use it yet
