I'm not much on politics, but saying NOTHUNG without some sort of example is not cobducive to anything insightful...what would you like to see the Pres do? He really had quite the clusterfuck to clean up...but lets be reasonable...ge us playing the cards given to him...why would the repubs stonewall EVERY effort the potus has made to move this country in ANY direction....BC its all about earmarks and popularity...you want change? Asseble a group to vociferate the cause you want people back, lobby in Congress, write your senatirs and reps, make noise...this country was founded by people making noise for what they want...the only way to make a change here is to make noise...more house than those soft wall street ptotestors...u want change? Encite a revolt...I bet you get attention focused in all of your causes!
That's not true. The President and the Democrat controlled congress had no opposition for 2 years. They even passed the massive boondoggle health care bill without one republican vote and the repubs couldn't stop it. Remember? That's why the Dems got tossed out last year. Remember?

Presidential terms are 4 years, not two. Also, I vividly remember the death of a senate Democrat that ended up holding the HC bill up for a couple extra months and ultimately ended in the "public option" being dropped from the plan. In case you've forgotten, there is a conservative wing of the Democratic party known as the Blue Dogs and they really did slow the process down a bit. As for our current congress, there has never been so many fillibusters and clotures, etc that this congress now holds the record all-time for overall obstructionism.

they still did everything in their power to stop it just that it still passed because as you said Democrat controlled the house for 2 yrs thats alot of time to fix this huh.
They didn't try to fix anything. They passed their agenda and made things worse.
Obama has been stopped because he made things worse and that is why the Dems lost so big last fall. The country is at a stalemate and that is a good thing until we can get rid of more of these leftists who are destroying America. We will bounce back as soon as we take out all the trash that is stinking up the place.
