Yea, just another new guy

Whats up everyone, this is my first time doing this so I'm basically just wingin' it as I go. Found a seed in some pretty dank buds, and i thought to myself why not. Been doing some research lurking around here and on some other forums. But mostly what I'm lookin for is to try and keep her small and hidden. Not looking to have a crazy yield or anything like that. I've been reading up on bending the plants or the bonsai method, what I want is pretty much under a foot of height, and maybe a lil over a foot in width. Then again these are just numbers in my head that I'm throwing out there, not sure if there reasonable or if the plant could stay that small.

Anyway off to the part everybody wants to see, I'm pretty sure I've been over-watering her, so I'm gonna cut back on the water for a day or two and see if she recovers quickly.

I have a lil box that I threw in some alum foil on the inside and top, a 65watt cfl like 2 inches away from the top on it.

"just another new guy". lol seriuosly welcome coca. best wishes & happy growing. my hands r tied i too was impulsive and winged it. i used Miracle gro and it has time-released nutes so i haven't had a chance to use my nutes.....BUT GUESS WHAT my 4 plants r doing okay & 1 is doing VERY WELL.

Haha, Thanks. Im using some type of miracle grow, supposedly it helps prevent over-watering or w.e. I'll walk outside and take a look at the bag Ina few..

What she's gonna be in till I figure out a way to keep her warm in the attic when winter hits.

lol your going to want to transplant that plant asap before the roots get too big. Put that baby in a 5gal bucket and watch her takeoff. She looks healthy as hell. All i am hoping for is that the plant is a female bro otherwise sorry m8

if your over watering there is no need to transplant right now because if there is always water around the roots do not stretch to reach water there for they dont really grow. plant like to have wet and dry period and both are good for root growth. so you might wanna wait on transplanting its up to you tho but you deff will some point in time

Like I said I'm not looking for a monster plant I'm tryin to keep her relatively small, not to concerned with a yield either; But the pictures of it in the red cups were just 5-10 mins after I took her out of a tiny tiny tiny plastic pot that my parents gave me, for another type of plant was supposed to be planted in. Hence the reason of keepin her small nd easy to keep hidden. I'll be updating this thread with new pictures every few days of the progress. I'll try to get some in focus pictures of whatever those things are called that determine if it's a male or female.

I'm basically gunna try to hide this in almost plain site. Let's hope they never realize that she dosent look anywhere near a Venus fly trap.

my pops came up to me about it yesterday and was pretty chill about it, nd its still in my closet so i guess they dont care much about it.

id tip it a few times to keep it short pull the top leaf off , let it fork then pull the top leaves off each stem , i think its "top" around here , i always knew it as tip , also might wanna flower it soon they double to triple in size during the flower size ,sativas get fucking huge

The aluminum foil is bad. You can get mylar cheap as hell and its exponentially better for light reflection. Aluminum foil mainly reflects heat. Obviously it does reflect light, but at a cost. Grab some mylar from a dollar store or you can use emergency blankets from wal mart. They prob cost more though.

I'm kinda against cutting the plant, I'm probably gunna tie her down in a few days, and just keep doing that until she flowers.
