Jan Brewer to order the state health department to stop issuing cards allowing patients to obtain and grow the drug. Carolyn Short noted that Brewer has blocked the agency from processing applications from those who want to run the dispensaries that the 2010 voter approved initiative requires to be set up to sell the drug. Brewer said she feared that state workers could be charged under federal law with being involved, even peripherally, with distributing marijuana.”

She is after all, SHORT ! Short on knowledge or just a lack of intelligence, not sure which. The last sabre ratttles are being heard around the Country. To think a crop such as hemp that could change our economy around & not even considiered ! That's not even including medical marijuana . . .

The only way to do anything about this situation is to be active in the cause... Look at the protests around the country... Occupy Phoenix for example... Go down and protest for medical marijuana...

Unfortunately if you organize a protest at this point it will only antagonize the public in a bad way. Once there is a concrete problem then it will be time to organize as a medical marijuana community & not a bunch of dope smokers in a shabby protest.
Remember AZ passed this by the narrowest of margins so doing anything to move public opinion against us will damage all. Kinda why I don't like the goofy club scene rockin' the shaky boat at this time.

You are probably right... I didnt think about the crowd that would be protesting... A petition with signatures is a good way to get a point across... All you have to do is wait downtown by the court house and I bet you will get all the signature we need...

AZ greencard holder, yep !
Im thinkin you'd get more illegal users than registered user at a rally. Im sure gathering signatures could be done and show the number of supporters in the state.
Hopefully the new case filed in Cali by the dispensary group will put a stop to the dispensary problem nationwide. It is about states rights & keeping feds out of your private business. What I do in private that does not affect others is none of their business.

Havent grown indoors since a bedroom 1k. Putting together a purpose built room at the moment. A couple of 600 HPS with with magnum xxl reflectors(setup for 2 more) with CO2(Atlas controller) 50 pound tank & ebb/gro ORCA etc etc....

Do you like the switchable ballast? Dig your setup. Ebb&Gro have you used it yet? If you plan to grow over 24 buckets I ran into the problem of having to buy a second 55 gallon rez for any more than 24 buckets... It has is UPS and downs.. I switched to ebb&flow trays and hae better results... Alot less lines to clean... After 2 harvests I noticed a build up in all the lines... It is a bitch to undo the lines just to clean them... Esepcially every week during rez change.. No way too much work...

With trays.. Clean and drain right into rez and clean rez.. Bam done...

I agree 100% but With Reagan starting DARE and the war on drugs in the 80's, people got fed lie after lie by the govt and they were too stupid to do the research for themselves. MMJ advocates could put a statistic after statistic up and a good majority of people will still be govt sheep and just move with the flock.

This setup isn't much past the pic yet. No experience with digi ballasts or ebb/gro. You are correct, 12 buckets will work the best with 55 gal tank. As far as cleaning the 3/4 inch lines out etc, Won't be using organics, at all. Your cleanup troubles organic ? Im probably tossing most of the hose in favor of abt 2 inch pipe to flow both ways quicker, even, & to get rid of 3 way hose connectors. It is also easier to clean up in theory or replace cheaply. I may run the hoses first, cross that bridge later this week. The flood tables have no advantage to me & my 12 operation. I'm glad your tables are working out for your style of grow & hope the 4gal buckets will work for mine(at least this time).

If I remember correctly, does it even matter if the state stops issuing med cards? I believe there is a section in the law that says if the state does not issue you a card within x days, then your application becomes your card and you are legal. Been a little while since I looked at it though.

Actually, if that is true, wouldn't that be worse for the state? Anyone can fill out a BS application, and become legal because they are not issuing cards.

They would shut down the app process so the law would not apply.
