Having serious Super Soil issues!

Hey, I've got some plants that just started flowering about a month ago (if that) in Roots Organics soil with 1/3 super soil on the bottom and I'm getting weird leaf action and yellowing all of a sudden. I tried to look up the problem and it seemed like a epsom salt issue, so I added some to their last 2 waterings and the yellowing is not even slowing. I have no idea what's up and it's hurting my yield big time.

The first pic is a leaf from a ? plant leaf showing signs of the initial problem. The 2nd pic is a Strawberry Blonde a couple days after getting epsom salts.

the PH of your soil is probably off causing it not to obsorb...or you've been giving it too much nutrients and now you have salt lock...so to determine which that it is, test the PH of your soil...if its around 6.5 thats fine....then test the PPM of your runoff...if thats high, you are probably salt locked...flush accordingly ;)

Humm...I haven't been giving it any nutrients, thought the https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/338384-2010-revised-super-soil-recipe.html kinda took care of that so they've only been getting water. Perhaps I mixed it a little too hot?
Did you follow all the directions and use all the exact ingredients? Did you let it sit for a full 30 days before you used it? And are you using a minimum of 7 gallon containers? All of these factor could be playing a role. Tell me more about your process of making the SS and details about your setup/time of veg/time of flower/container size...ect.

And to answer your question you are correct that it should not need any more nutrients when using supersoil.

he also could have watered the fuck out of it sucking all the nutrients...or just has a PH issue ;) Again...PH your soil ;)

You do not need to PH your soil in organics. The Supersoil he talks about does not need to be PH'ed. You need to know more about Supersoil before you answer a question about it.

if he didn't mix it properly and its not buffered right, then yes...he should check the PH on it to see what is going wrong ;)

This is from Subcool about his Supersoil and PH.
To me, there is nothing like the taste of properly grown organic cannabis. The subtle flavors and aromas created when using Mother Earth are pleasantly overwhelming to the senses when everything is done properly. As with many vegetables, a rich organic soil can bring out the best in a plant. Throughout the past 20 years, I have tried almost every possible way to cultivate our favorite plant and while hydroponic is certainly faster and more productive, I have developed a soil that performs extremely well with very little guess work. I don’t worry about PH or PPM (parts per million), I simply have spent a few years developing a n effective recipe. Using seven gallon nursery pots, I can grow plants from start to finish using only water.

Didn't say it did. I asked him questions about what may or may have not been causing his issues. PH'ing the soil isn't going to correct his problem is what I am saying. He needs to further explain his process b/c plain and simple in organic soil PH is not a issue. I will go get source after source explaining this if you would like. I thought it was common knowledge amongst organic growers.

His problems most likely came from user error indeed. Usually not following the recipe/directions is the root cause of Supersoil problems.

I don't have a personal problem with you, but if your going to answer a question about Supersoil you should be well versed on how to properly use it. And in Supersoil a PH meter is not necessary.
