First Time Grow With 7 Plants!

YaY YAY LOL im soo fucking baked right noww!! the bud that i got grow i just cliped one of my plants down so i woul dnt have to raise the light also they were all differnt hights so i ended up drying to and i smoked some and it was pretty good for not dryed really well and cured

They starting to fill in man, bet its getting pretty smelly there!
I wouldn't trim any fan leaves down, its like the plants solar panels.

hey I was reading about your lights, I have plants about 1 week old , I planted from seed 6 plants. they arent doing so well because I didnt study enough about the lights. anyway I am learning more now and thinking I shouldnt have planted so many plants...... in your opnion how many watts should each plant have? looks like for your set up you have about 100 per plant.
I understand 6500k is for veg and 2700k is for flower, but now Im stuck on the wattage....
any advice? I am using CFL as well.

i was cutting some of the fan leaves so i can get more light to the other bud sites but i ill stop now thanks man for the tip

well i was in ur situation at one point i had to do some reading they say 150w per plant is good but like i said i was stupid to grow all these plants and the yeilds would have been better if i stuck to 3 vers 6-8 lol so i hoped i helps also what soil are u using and have u started givin nute cuz u if u have i would wait a wk 3

a breakthough, so about 150 per plant. finally I am getting somewhere. I just ripped out one of my plants and will probably do it to the others, I just want like 2 plants, and pray they are female or I will dry the male out and smoke his ass. j/k I will cry instead.

well I made a bunch of stupid mistake,,,, I used miricle grow dirt, so I am afriad to give it any nutes, cus apparently everytime I water the dirt releases some.
also the damn dirt came with fungus gnats so I had fun fighting those off.

right now I have 2 23watt 5000k CFL and 1 40watt 2700k over my plant.
thinking I should order some bulbs off line
like some 100watt 6500k cfl

I know once I get my shit together I can do this. I did at one point grow magic mushrooms and those are not easy..... no lights required though.

y would u order 6500k's when u can get them at the hardware store for cheaper i think if ur going to do to plants i would get more light like 3 for each plant in each stage at 100w/or if u go to walmart u can get 200w bubls for 14.99 i got some of my stuff at walmart also do u have a local grow shop near u ? i also am using M G soil but i also mixed another soil so that the M G woulndt over power it i used schultz plant food ever week for veg n hey if u end up getting males save them and dry them out keep them for when u trim the female them make some weed oil BMO if u wanti hope i helped if u could hook it up with some rep i think i desevre al little love kk anymore question ill try and help also if u need bigger pots try walmart they have 8-10" pots for 97 cents

see now your loosing me. home depot and walmart dont sell lights past 40watt.

CFL Wattage

Now sometimes there can be a lot of confusion when it comes to power of the light due to poor labeling but we will do our best toclear all of that up. Normally light manufacturers that make CFL’s generally will put two numbers on the box your CFL comes in. One is Actual Wattage and one is the Incandescent Equal. As you can see here on this CFL the Actual Wattage is 23 Watts, and it’s Incandescent Equal is 100 Watt’s. You need to totally ignore the Incandescent Equal and pay attention only to the Actual Wattage of the Bulb




So ..... do you agree with that above statement?

i had 8 but i cut 3 down because i was new and thought it out all wrong with lights also when these plants got bigger so for lights i got 7 23wts 2 30wts &1 40

how do you have your lights hanging up? what type of fixtures... do you have a pic I can see,,,,,

questions are not problem we learn by asking but i have them hanging by a board that has eye hooks that have been fasten then i have a a thick wire that is tighed to each eye hook then i have wraped the excess wire to the more thicker wire to the hight of the plants I kinda riged it but it works can i send u a pic on monday night im out of town till then also for the fixtures alll they are is a two prong with a socket then its screded in to a dividing 2 more socket outlet wit another socket that i have used a y two socket so it all depends you can mix it up use a power bar and use a bunch of screw in sone 2 prong sockets and plug them into it and fasten it to the walls i dont know i hope this helps

it does help, thats what I did... I got the eye hook thingies and hung the cords from there, Im gonna go to home depot and get a bulb splitter.
let me know when you get some pictures up =)
