That is why it is SUPER inportant to pack the pure coco coir as tight as you can pack with your hands... Tighter the better....

Makes a big difference... You can have a 5 gallon bucket in 4 inches of water and if the coco is packed tight enough it will water the coco to the top...
 
Well there's this little thing called gravity, it will take a little while to absorb the water. Then our friend gravity shows up again and pushes the water down. Depending on how often you water the bottom will stay wet and the top will dry a little. I think the roots like water, so they be at the bottom chilling.

Are you asking me a question or telling me I am wrong...
Like I have said many times... If the coco is packed right and you (the Grower) are watering correctly it works perfect... But if you have no clue about what you are doing then YES it will not work...

My watering schedule during flowing is
every 3 hours on for 6 minutes... Allows enough water to be absorbed through the bottom of pot.. It takes what it needs...
 
if your packing is too loose or too tight it wont work right... grab a hand full and pack a small container and find out how "firm" your packing needs to be to suck up enough nutes to wet the top... once thats done you can gauge how long your water cycle should be on... in phxfire's case its 6 min.
 
They look good man. Is your room a little hot or did you run into some nute burn with those bigger girls? The leaves looks pretty crispy but I don't know for sure...just what the picture looks like. What are all those different strains?

Room temps are perfect... A little NUTE burn...
Most of plants are at week 7 of flower but there are a few in week 4 and week 2 of flower...

The plants in week 2 & 4 are getting a little nute burn cuz I am running the PPM at around 1600 because the others are in week 7... I would rather have a little burn of the smaller guys than have small buds on larger plants...
I am being lazy by not have my 3rd tray set up with separate rez so I can run the RIGHT nute mix at a lower PPM for week 2 & 4...
