Opinions on ripeness?

Here are some more, but I don't know how different they are from the original.:peace: Actually, attaching these, I realized that these pictures are from Monday and the first picture is from Saturday, so these are newer.

Looking very good! Have you looked at the trichromes under magnification? Just by looking I would probably go another week but depends what the trichromes look like and the type of high you are wanting. The buds look like they could get just a little bigger and swell a bit more. Very pretty, sugary buds! Excellent plant!
 
Yeah, I have a scope and am checking daily. There are still some clear ones, especially on the lower buds, so I was figuring a week. Actually, I want to chop Sunday. I don't know why Sunday more than Saturday or Monday, but it seems like a good choppin' day! But if it isn't ready, I can let it go for as long as she wants!:hump: I am just getting antsy.:peace:
 
Looks delicious hmmmm ,

Man they look about done nearly i can see a slight orange tint on some of the tric,s then some other just a bit cloudy ,its days rather than weeks keep a very close eye

You will need a microscope to know for sure 50/50 cloudy amber or 60/40 vise virsa and through time you will learn what suits you best

give her a week check the trichs and if you dont see a big change let her go another week. 2 weeks tops i would say
 
I don't think you have to chop the entire plant all at once. Can't you chop the ones that are ready and give the branches that are not ready a few extra days?

Yeah, it does have pink hairs. I will find some really good pictures of the pinkies. As far as strain, it is the super duper top secret shit that only I know about. Actually it is bag seed at its worst-bricked up shitty mexi crap. I had about a billion seeds and grew one out. Shows what love can do. Marijuana is Marijuana.

the reason I asked is because I have one that was given to me and I was told that it was some kush, but its got the pink hairs too and I was curious about that.

Since it is commercial Mexican crap, I am sure that it is a pretty pure land race sativa. I doubt they do much breeding there since they don't care about seeds and drying, curing,and like that. I clipped off one of the buds because I was dry/curious and quick microwave dried it. So of coarse it tasted and smelled like shit, but the high was good. A little too speedy, so it definitely needed some more time.:peace: Here are some better pics of the pinkies:hump:

Hmmm, With out knowing the strain of how long they have been in flower. I have to just go off of what the buds look like. From what I see. They have not hit that SWELLING stage that happens in the last 2-3 weeks. But then again maybe that is the strain you have. It would be best if you went to radioshack and bought their $10.99 60X-100X scope and looked at the trichs.

I do have a scope. There are still some clear, so I know it isn't ready. Also, that last picture of all pink hairs is from a week ago at least. Don't worry all, I will harvest when trichs are at least 50/50 cloudy/amber.:joint:
