think with your help m8 i might be geting to the bottom of this, never knew any of this shit b4 you said. iv been reading all the stuff that jberry has posted that you told me and starting to make sence of it now!wene you said you add 100ppm in veg and 250 in flower is that of cal/mag? the ec of my water here is not reading on my ec meter so i take it its 0 ppm and therefore is not hard water although im not sure if its the ppm level that decides if your water is hard or not? defintly easier to find info on the canna nutes tho

to be honest im not 100 percent sure on the ec reflecting hard or soft. ive never had anything but hard water. si ive no experience and would not like to comment as it would be a guess. for youre water ye ive know growers with this problem. but they say it is far from a problem as they then have complete control over what they feed there babies on. and ye id deffenelty add 0.2 ec of calmag. i know that some nute range do compensate for this and add exxtra. ye i always run lo amounts of cal/mag due to my water been so high. i probably could drop it. i just going to go research you're nutes and find whats in them and get to the bottom of this with you are all you plants the same age and have they anytime in there life suffered root . problems. also are you feeding till you get a 20 to 30 percent run of is so then there deff is no point in the 3rd water you do and deff no point to flush until the end as the run off acts as they mini daily or every other day flush

I'm using canna coco with humboldt nutrients oneness, seacal, silica. I'm in veg and things look good right now, but this is the first time I'm growing in coco and i'm not sure how to feed my bud booster. with oneness nutrients I'm going to be using big up powder to switch them over to flower. It says to use at the beginning of 12/12 to help induce flowering, and then again with 3 weeks left, and again with 2 weeks left. Do I feed the entire first,sixth,and 7th week, or is this just one application at the start of those weeks? I used these nutrients in foxfarm soil, but I was only watering twice a week. I added the big up powder to my nutrients and fed them with it twice during the first, sixth and seventh week.

plants are all same age i used to let them dry before watering again and gave them plain phd water time to time i have switched to keeping them moist and watering wene at about 50% of their total weight with runn off now after reading what you gave me! never had any problems with roots that i know of! looks like i have a cal and mag deff so think that could be the problem and i belive that calcium helps sort out ph if im right could be mistaking tho! the 3 part feed is micro grow and bloom dont have it here with me or id type it all out for you! i will start adding a little cal mag b4 the feed tho ill wait till i have read all this and see if we can get to the bottom of it 1st befor throwing stuff in! again thanks for taking the time to help m8 hope to be able to return the favor sum time.

Hey sup noobie question here. I was giving a customized feeding schedule and it has "b-52 by advance nutrients" on the feeding chart. I was wondering when do you guys or whoever has used b-52 during what weeks during flowering and... how many ML per gallon. And do I have to drop any other nutes down? or Discard anything else when adding b-52? I'm growing 2 part coco 1 part perlite. Thanks for reading!!

I use it during all weeks of veg and the first 3 weeks light doses you could drop your regular nutes down a few ml worth nothin major! Pretty much use it with your regular feeding program, at first dont use nearly the amount it says! Hope this helps!!

Hey everybody I could really use some help.Im growing in cana coco pro about 13 days from seed growing ak48 and some bagseed but im running into some problems with brown tips and pale coloring on my seedlings. So which is the best grade/consistency of coco to use, a fine, coarse or combination? My local hydro shop has several different brands/grades. A buddy of mine was telling me that he used a combo of fine, coarse and perlite and was amazed at the results. I'm going to do coco & perlite in smart pots and hopefully under a 400W ceramic metal halide if my ballast will fire it, other wise it will be Hortilux Super HPS. I will also have a 90W LED UFO and a few 65W 4300 lumen 2700K & 5000K CFL's for supplemental side lighting. Thanks for any help and advice as I'm very new to this.

yes mate you have slight nute burn. belive this or not ive just got the same thing through doing some test on 2 week old ww seeing how far i can push them same medium al canna nutes. AnB zym rhizo pk..

i need to post up my gorow jurnals. but im real bad as this sort of stuff. could you send me in the right direction.

i will go read all you post and see what you're feeding im at work and could only look at the pics. but you do have nute brun. its the plants most vunrable time after transplant n nute burn is so easy to get at tis point and can be a killer to the young ones. i dropped down to 350 ppm of AnB(1 mill to one liter os water) and added rhizo at 2mill a liter and my water is 0.5 sc plus 150ppm of cal/mag which was overall 700ppm and there responding great took 3 to 4 days thou to start to get there dark green back and now there growing back at a good rate.
i will be home soon from work and if you're on i can go through this in more detail with you np also youre strain ive grown to there tough plants(not to sure whos strain there were as they were clones)

ok i swear by canna coco plus. also gold range of coco is good to. but canna for me. but if you do use canna pro plus you dont need perlite but if you do use only 10 percent as it can cause chemical in-balances in canna coco. its not a certian. but i have seen it. so be carefull. as the coco husk can provided more oxygen with out perlite than with. youre lighting sound good. i run jst 2 hps 600 w duel bulbs sun master. amazing bulbs. i would not recommended germinating or cloning with them but they say u can. remember with standard ballast you can not swap watts. say run 400 on a 600 ect also different makes to. let me know how it goes thou please as im very interested in lighting at the minute

ye it looks like a patassuim. i remember it like this..Leaves are browning or yellowing. Yellow, brown, or necrotic (dead) patches, especially around the edges of the leaf, which may be curled. Plant may be too tall.==== Potassium
how is it going. i can post up some info if needed my friend. are u using cal/mag if so how much. but thats one nice plant. how long you veg her

You can mix it up however you want. I have used a combo mix of Hydro farm's coco chips ( big chunks) and Roots organic coco coir with perlite which is actually like 75% perlite lol and I have used 100 % straight coco chips with great results. I always precharge my coco with Liquid karma and cal/mag .

Its good to hear from somebody who has had the same problems with the same medium,products etc. I see you said that you wer feeding them 1ml of a+b per litre, but i was giving 1ml of a+b per gallon and i still got the pale white tips. Thanks for the responses guys, I'm really excited about getting this started, well technically I already have 4 seedlings going but there in soil and I'm VERY curious to see the compassion between the the two mediums, as well as how well the CMH works which Ive heard is amazing. Thanks again and I'll post my progress for sure.

Hey guys I have a grow just started in coco using 2 1/2 gallon hempy buckets and a 400 watt T5...Red Dragon, Acapulco Gold, Jamaican Me Crazy and 1 La Diva Auto in a 2 liter. Just wanted to share...feel free to stop in and say hello. It will be my first grow. Not much going on now as they are in day 3 from sprout however they are growing mighty fast and they're very healthy...they'll have their second set of leaves by tomorrow morning. Lovin' the coco :]

ye i always start with 1 mill for 2 t0 5 days till there rooted and have taken and the stress of moving is over then got to 1.5 gor a week then when the plants starts to develop on its volume i go to 1.9 maybe max at 2.2 crossing into the pre flowering but the 2.2 mill is depending on lot of things. this waht brings me on the next thing to do with you're plants and the burn. first of all to much cal can cause a pattasuim lock out wih can look very similar to nute burn curling tips burnt looking patches more towards the edge then the tips and yellowing not the light green look that u get with burn. but from you're photos im seeing only tips burnt. 1 mill im my experience can be to much for some strains if feed round the 9 10 11 day mark. but most seem ok with this i grow white widow and they are sound but bubblegum use to burn with 1 mill i used to have to start with 0.5 mill. im not at work today due to the teachers strike so i will check you're feeding see what you're putting in there also youre lights how close are they and did you pre charge. cause this is were some debate on caana coco pro plus come in. some say it as to be precharged as its burnt plants on just water. never seen this just read it on forums so might not 100 percent relable as normal its down to human error. canna say its just pre rinsed and bufferd thats it. ive tried be feeding plants 14 days ols on just water to see as testing run off straight away is bad as its inacurrate and can wash away a lot of the micros and mess up buffers try to make sure the first thing to come into contact with canna coco plus is AnB(try not to get run of till at least 2 week plus) and when i did this i got mag def and the plants were starving so in my opinion its not pre charged at all. i read thou you're journal and find the problem for sure. but if youre not useing cal/mag ith to high ratios then its burn and i would just give then a good feed at 0.5 mill and biuld from there. im know its tempting to flush then feed with 0.5 mill but as the stage in the cocos like its to early for any plain or nute flush. in theary you will wash the old feed to the bottom but not out fi you get the right amount in. this will sit there and yes biuls up salt but youre plants are real young and i can garuntee if you check youre roots will not have moved far from the plug if at all. then once the recover feed with a small run off 10 percent st the most jsut to clear the old salt/feed out this is what ive done and they have recovered great in 3 days. you ill have to help me with a journal. i have alll info and photos on this grow and previous one. this way the info i put up is more trust worthy to the growers reading it

Does anyone else hate the smell of coco? I can't stand it! First time I used it I thought I got a contaminated batch or something. That weird chemical/musk smell makes me want to gag. Why can't it smell like pina coladas or something?
