NORTHERN LIGHTS Day 26 of Flower

My two fem Northern Lights grown from seed from nirvana. Using a basic mix of FFOF and cocoa, well water, and GH flora bloom and flora micro.
Vegged for 6 weeks under 5 cfls 24hr cycle and now 12/12 under a 400w hps
My humidity is under 30% and daytime temps don't exceed 78-79f.
The one was topped about 2 or 3 weeks into veg and I lst'd the other just to experiment with them.
First grow, excited and happy with how things are going. Little tight on space so next time I think I'll just go with one but let me know what you think.

THANKS brothers and sisters for taking the time to read and check out my plants!
Happy growing

Beautiful, man! Looks good for a first grow. I'm running into the same problem with space too. To have more small ones, or less big ones?!
Keep it up, and happy growing!

Got a NL pheno from Nirvana that i keep going as its easy to grow and a hit hard smoke , thought i'd share :) , its in week 3 of 12/12...she's hard as hell can take anything from over nute to cold temps , very resistant.

Yes, they are very resistant. my temps are beginning to vary from 91f (lights on) - 64f (off) at highs and lows if I get lazy and don't pay attention but never and issue.

I am now at day 53. I have flushed both and have stopped adding nutes. They really are more like shrubs..

Veery nice clonex. Responds so well to topping. The difference between my 2 is very noticeable.

Thanks for all the compliments Too guys!

Yeah clonex, looking pretty man. I'd say my girls are in their last week too.
How did she respond to the 9 hours of light? Is it truly benificial for production, or is it just a nice energy saver with no side effects?

These are from day 40

They are only in 3.8 gal containers and I really think they'd have been much larger had I provided larger grow area. They were in veg for nearly 6 weeks as I was getting a larger grow area setup (still not nearly big enough) but very excited to see this harvest. I'll get some more pics up soon.

Well , some ppl give their plants 48hrs dark before chop , as to panic the plant into extra resin production , i do it gradually over a week , and yes it saves power with no side affects , you do notice the buds tightening up more , i can vouch for this..... , your plants look stocky and juicy man , well done. i wish you would rotate before inserting online , my neck is stretching like ET:)

I was intending on a 48 hr dark period at the end of this cycle.
Sorry about the sideways photos, I am not too computer savvy (actually was very proud the day I even posted a photo on this forum)

I am really happy with the way they are turning out. Here are some photos just taken

Thanks man!!
as for plants big or small: Depends why you're growing I'd say. I'm really about growing the biggest, bulbous buds I can manage. So for me, I say big plants, just less of em. I also always intend on fem seeds, which allows me to grow a plant or 2 with good certainty that I won't be wasting my time.
So many advantages (and disadvantages) to both to help you choose what's best for you.

going to switch mine to a 9/hr and see how they take it. Also think I'm going to flush one last time tomorrow.
