I always end up buying myself something. I bought a traditional 3 piece katana set. It looks pretty badass. An oriental antique and gift dealer was going out of business and my wife haggled her down to $40 for the set. Money well spent. So now if a Samurai comes to my house I imagine he'll feel right at home. So what are you getting yourself?

I've been wanting this for ages, pretty much an EFB (electronic flight bag) that displays charts, weather, your own uploaded checklists... everything a pilot like me could want to reduce cockpit workload and general clutter from all the paper charts we have to carry.

I might get myself a manga magazine subscription as my grandparents usually buy it for my birthday but they gave me book vouchers instead this year. I also got a few little things like a new grinder. Only the 3rd <$10 in 4 years.
