Seems to me there is a lot of focus on this thread about the bumper stickers and such. I will not argue that this point is valid and can cause mass hysteria and innocent people being dragged from their cars and beaten for fear that they may be predators. Advertising illegal activities with bumper stickers, t-shirts, pins etc does not happen with anything else at all. Oh excuse me, brb I have to go put on my NORML shirt.
Anyway, do I fear a bumper sticker? no, that is ridiculous. What I do fear is someone putting on a costume or using another seemingly harmless ploy for the purpose of luring a child. I agree the bear is cute and to be honest I would buy a stuffed one for my kid if I could find one. But if I see an adult in a bear suit that wants to give my kid a piggie back ride...let's just say I am glad I have a concealed weapons permit.

pretty funny shit considering it's a social norm to teach kids that IT'S PERFECTLY OK for a complete stranger to come into your room while you're sleeping and leave you money and presents for body parts and certain behaviours (toothfairy, santa claus)
