Changing sites will not help, stay with youtube. First of all, if The Weed Nerd changed sites, the videos would still have to be hosted somewhere, and any other site you do go to, would result in a loss of viewers.
The length of the video upload shouldn't be a problem, as YT raised their upload limit a while ago. You may need to contact them to get that fixed, but I watch several Videogame casters on YT, and they all don't have an upload limit.
Lastly, on the subject of pulled videos for music. It is NOT youtube that takes down your video. It also has NOTHING to do with the artist's opinion on IP rights. It is the LABEL that is having your videos taken down. All of the RIAA, the MPAA, ESA, all the record labels, all of these companies pay third party companies that use software that scans places like youtube. The scan millions of videos a day looking for violations of "their copyright" . When they find one of your videos with one of "their songs" on it, all they have to do is file a DMCA complaint. YT then has no choice but to pull your video down.
I mention all this because its important that people know about it. The SOPA law that the US is trying to pass right now, would result in the entire hosting site, like YT, being shut down, for a single violation by someone that didn't even know the law, like in the case of your videos.
In short.
Stay on Youtube.
Contact YT about removing your upload limit.
You have to stop playing Copyrighted music, unless you want to pay for the rights to do so. I don't like it either, but if you don't they will continue to pull your videos. Its either that, or use music that isn't signed to a major label.
Thx, just trying to help.
