Hi RIU,

New to the website so here it is,
I'm having a stealth grow with 3 23W CFL's. Now I know that it isn't much but I am simply trying to get through the winter here in Canada and its pretty dry around here and want some smoke. I am aiming for 14 grams per plant or a half Oz. I think it is possible.
I have 6 seeds germinating right now:
2X Tutty frutty: Was a plant from the summer which somehow got pollinated from a male in the neighbourhood, so got about 100 seeds from that and am testing 2.
2X M39 which is bagseed.
1X Kush
1X BC bud depot blueberry.

Really stoked on this an am hoping for 3 oz's from 6 plants which is not bad and am really excited as this is my second indoor grow.
I have a stash of over 100 seeds that I've collected over the year from bagseed and the plant that got pollinated. So if these go well I will use some of the seeds for and outdoor grow come summer.

I am using potting soil aswell as some advanced nutrients for the grow.

Please and feedback is welcome and will be updating this as much as possible !

The lights you have now will barely be enough to sustain one plant, let alone six. You are going to definitely have to up the wattage.

I'm planning on getting some 100W CFL's comming up hopefully or add another 3 bulbs.
I have the possibility to have 6 although then becomes the issue of heat as I have a computer fan in there blowing it around but I really don't want the plants to suffer from heat stress. It's in a small and enclosed space so I really don't have much room. I prefer the outdoors but with 3 feet of snow it simply isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Well how big of an area are you working with. Air circulation is key, having two computer fans in smaller grow boxes works well. Need one fan that will suck in air near the bottom of the grow box and the other fan should be placed near the top venting out all the air. Heat should not be that big of an issue when dealing with cfl's, and with the computer fans that should help control any unwanted heat and help with air circulation at the same time. I would probably just start with a 23 watt cfl bulb over each plant once they break soil, That should be enough watts to get them started. Once they get growing you will have to probably have to double if not triple the wattage. Cfl's also have to be placed very close to the plants to receive a beneficial amount of light, like 1-2 inches away is ideal(whatever works without burning the plants). I also suggest painting the inside of your grow box white to help reflect light, white paint is very reflective as well as Mylar. A temperature gauge always helps to, Don't want it to cold or to hot. Hope that helps, Happy toking :bigjoint:

My grow box is completely white which is good and the CFL's are placed on top of the plants and 1-2 inches on the sides of the canopy to help the lower portion.
The room's about 78 Frenheit.

Alright so 3/6 have popped so far.
The Kush, BC blueberry, Tutty fruity.
Needless to say I'm stoked waiting on the others.

In my 12/12 from seed grow, it wasn't stealth, but I had at least 120w in CFLs and T5s on one plant. I got a half oz in 2 months, then the drying and curin after obviously.
