I need some input from outdoor growers...
Will size become a problem [under 8ft] on an April to Nov season?
I have seen some that needed to be "managed" the hedge shears...

Me too...but don't want to NEED that 12ft fence. I expect to see some large specimens. Do the brand name seeds tend toward smaller plant than the bagseed I grew 30yrs ago....or will the sat doms grow crazy. Again no complaints. I'm more concerned with grasshoppers.
Looking at TGA for seed. Anyone have experience with the Grow-Op Co-Op in Tucson as a source?

thanks,
Regards,
Azoned

Ah, security reasons ! Under 8 ft for total height could be lower than your fence. I have neighbors on two sides so no outdoors here. Do you know how tall this strain is supposed to grow ? If you topped it that would lower overall height. The smell may be more of a problem.

Not worried about fragrance. No immediate neighbors. Just want to know for spacing. I'm thinking Vortex and/or JTR. We'll see what's available when I go to get the beans. Both st dom. Will some "training" be needed?

thanks agan

:leaf: PATIENT?? :leaf: GROWER?? :leaf:

I am currently in Phoenix Arizona. I am on a mission to find other people with my same interest... To grow marijuana for patients. A caregiver may grow (12) plants for (5) patients. That is (60) :leaf: plants for one caregiver.
I want to come together with other people that want to grow the HIGHEST of quality of buds...

If growing marijuana is your passion, you are not alone. Lets clash heads and be the first people to start growing in AZ and take over the growing industry...

:leaf:I want to hear feedback from people in ARIZONA:leaf:

The 1st post of this thread was incorrect!!

:leaf:One caregiver could grow 72 plants if they were also a patient!!! :leaf:

Funny no one ever questioned this!!

Get with the program phxfire!!!! Ha ha that is exactly how mine is looking only 24 0-4 weeks and 24 4-finish :) Basically the same thing only less work for me. Trying to manage that many plants every 2 weeks is soooooooooo much work. You would need a team at that point. If you give yourself a month it seems to go a little bit smoother.

Hell yeah, managing a full time job and growing on the side is not easy, much love to you guys that do this full time because regardless of what the lames say this shit is real work its like an art form.

I was just explaining that to an investor. Telling him what I do, I consider it an art. Anyone can grow weed but it truly is an art to grow medicinal quality flowers. I'm about to go full time here soon...just left the grow shop :/

Agreed! Alot of folks grow pot!

But it takes a true connoisseur to grow good pot!

What do you think about this 25 Mile rule? Bird!

I think our state is going to rewrite or "revise" certain aspects of this proposition. They will soon hear the voices of many activists. Just like in other states, "revisions" are common. No need to worry IMO. And if worrisome comes your way, go get a renewal...at least that will add an extra year regardless of what happens.

i just threw out 16 - 1 liter air pots! they were such a pain in the ass to water! the one that was a bit bigger than 3 gallons was a pain too! they might be fine for a few plants but 12 or so is too time consuming and hit and miss unless you immerse them in water or use a drip system or something else that i don't want to get involved with!

i've used every pot size and shape you can imagine from 2 inch square up to 7 gallons! long and deep plastic storage bins, square pots, round pots, tall pots, short pots wide and skinny. i threw out all my hard pots (i had over 100 of various sizes) and switched to grow bags. i'm now a smart pot guy and will be throwing out most of my grow bags except for the 1/2 and 1 gallon size! i don't know how, but i have collected 3 large garbage bags full of used grow bags! i kept buying them thinking i'd throw out the old ones but...

the root structures in the smart pots was remarkable! they were kind of odd looking but dense! oddly enough, i didn't notice much if any difference in the weight of 10 clones! some were done in 2 gallon grow bags and the rest in 2 gallon smart pots. i had them under an MH light the whole flower cycle like a retard!

this is my current grow. these plants were in the party cups for too long so their stalks aren't very thick. i vegged them for 2 weeks in their larger pots and they are about 14 days in flower here.

i currently have plants in 2, 3 and 5 gallon smart pots (and a couple in 2 gallon grow bags because i'm really lazy). if the 5 gallon has a bunch of dense roots at the end of this, i'll convert to them! although i'm 2 weeks into flower i'm probably going to put the rest of those in 2 gallon smart pots into 3 gallon and maybe one more five gallon!

i'm pretty high and running out of steam so here's some pics!

this crop is cinderella 88, skunk #1/afgani #1, stonehenge/an unknown BOG, an unk/bubble gum, sensi star and afgani #1!

the male is a cindereall 88. ima makes some babies! :)

a pic of 2, 3 and 5 gallon pots.

i got a new 600 watt, hortilux HPS for $85.00 on line! cheapest price in the valley was about $125.00!
