Do you know how much disaster and death await us when the globe actually cools and the next ice age comes? Glaciers covering 1/2 of North America, all of Canada, 1/2 of Europe, etc. Mass starvation, migration and death. YES, YES, LETS SPEND TRILLIONS TO SPEED IT UP!!!

Lets realize that there is incontrovertible proof that the planet has been much warmer and much cooler than it has been right now. And then let's work towards trying to adapt to the planet rather than spend trillions of dollars to admittedly lower the temperature like 1/2 a degree over a century. Seriously, the global warming scientists admit that even what they propose isnt a solution.

the best solution is to probably just remain dependent on finite fuels and be completely unprepared when eventually alternative fuels become more viable. ya know, the GOP way.

I'm pretty sure he just wants the death rate to exceed the birth rate for a while, ie. stop everyone rutting and reproducing so much.
I guarantee you could achieve this by cutting welfare, people won't have as many kids if they can't afford them (except in Africa, they have it backwards due to cultural beliefs tho).

Bill Gates also supports "death panel" legislation. The health care is a world wide social service. Only those deemed worthy of treatment get served.The elderly and disabled get reduced or no treatment. Only the fittest and those who properly contribute get care. Pretty much the Eskimo tradition of sending the old on an ice patch to die. If you thought Obamacare was horrible, Gates' deathcare trumps it. It's a much worse version of eugenics with an ecology twist!

the real debate here is not "are we causing it?", it's more like "to what extent are we causing it, and what can be done?".
the latter part is a simple answer that we all agree on, the former...not so much.
