Too true, heck, even my two AI clones seem to be growing differently from each other, lol. Who ever said individuality was such a great thing?

Yeah especially when it outpaces it's sisters that it needs to be equal to in canopy height. Anyway that is precisely what caused my recent disaster.

Rodan got so heavy her net pot fell through the hole in the tube (first image below). Most were suggesting I find a way to prop her up then Lordjinn suggested caging her to prop her up for the next 2 weeks. So we got out the 1" PVC and built a tight cage for her. It's a little to tight and I'll lose some of her inner buds but I'll get her top colas to finish properly so that's ok. Plus I have many copies of her and her sisters waiting to flip and I'm flipping them tomorrow so I don't get a canopy out of control again. I learned that lesson.

Plus I'm following collective_gardeners recommendation and going soilless. That's the chore for today, re-potting the pot.

Anyway here's some pictures on what happened and the fix, all cage credit goes to lordjinn LOL

Thanks Zoltan44x, I have learned so much on this grow. One of the most important things is the plants can not wait on me. Oh yes and if you have a stoner dog close the damn grow room door another important lesson learned.

I had a very similar problem with my AI the last 3 weeks or so. The plant was too heavy and the net pot I was using was too flimsy, which resulted in the whole thing falling into the DWC bucket every time the water started to get low, which got to be every day or two toward the end. That's actually how I discovered the net pots would fit into the mason jar lids. I was searching for a solution to help support the plant weight, and stumbled upon the discovery of the perfect fit, I ended up using a mason jar lid as a support collar of sorts during my last week or so of flower. Let me tell you, it was not easy to gentley work that root mass through a 3 inch opening, not just one, but three times, lol. Oh the things we do for our plants.

Help guys, what are these things? Suddenly my buds are growing new 'things' out of the top of their buds! What is this? It looks like the buds are budding? The first one was just to show how lovely the crystals are but the other three are all different buds on different plants but all seem to be growing horns?

Woops almost forgot to show you the new clones getting transplanted to their final 2 gallon containers and the new Pre-98 Bubba seedlings that I pray do NOT hermie on me. I'm holding them to get clones and I'm hoping those tiny little branches hidden under the skirt will be large enough to root.

PS this is Flowering Week #8 + 2 days = 58 days in flower. Nirvana says this is a 7-9 week strain.

Thanks kamie, I just heard of foxtailing the other day. They have only had GH three part Flora series and some CalMag. Is there something I can give them to correct it or something I should do? I guess I'm wondering if this is normal or abnormal and what to do if I need to fix it?

Oh then I'm good. Frankly I think bag appeal is a load of nonsense. Well maybe not a load of nonsense but certainly a very secondary issue LOL. Thanks!

glad you got your issue under control, annie (i was sure you would, plus you have the cg advantage) (still jelllyyyyyyy)

foxtailing is highly debated in some circles.... personally i agree with kamie, plus i think of it as extra weight, since, like you say, it's like my buds are growing buds! ;)

Yes when I count my blessings cg is on the list :)

Thank you for the reassurance. It's been bothering me and bothering me, worried something was really a problem instead of a mild irritation. So when waiting for finishing do you check the trichomes on the foxtails too?

Pics 2,3, and 4 look done to me. The foxtails will never finish, new ones will just keep growing.

No. More foxtails are just going to keep popping up.

Dan Nirvana says they are a 7 week (49 day), to 9 week (63 day), strain. But other have said it's a 9 to 10 week (79 day) or so strain. I don't see any amber color in the trichomes and not all of them are cloudy about 50/50 I'd say on the buds. There maybe just a hint of amber today but no real percentage of it yet.

I'm looking for pain control and help with sleep so I am thinking I'm going to be on the long side. It is driving me crazy because I need them to be done NOW! The clones need the big light LOL. Anyway I flipped them on February 6th so I'm just reaching the end of the 7th week and beginning of the 8th week. I think I counted that right?
