Ron Paul Vs. Mittens

David Tennant has more the presidential look than Dr Paul. If a Kenyan can be president, why not a Brit. After all, our first was a Brit.

When you people have to tell your children, or when you look down at your paychecks and realize FICA is not helping you in 10 years. You can head over to your mirror in your Hyper inflated house and thank yourself for being a blind sheep or a milked cow; who is now a beef cow.....Maybe you can dig in and stick to your wrong ideas like these Admins do and justify why you let it happen? Fools! You do realize that in less then a 100 years of finagling and twisting the Constitution, they have taken what used to buy with a 100 dollars and now costs 8000! Has your wages gone up that much? If so, has your tax bracket gone up too? Fools! making 2 dollars a day a 100 years ago was good. To put that in perspective, you would have to make 1600 a day now with the old tax brackets to equate..... index is up 800% BTW You all making at least half of that 1600 a day? No.... I thought so. Fools!

Miracles. How do they work?
Serious question. Do you, Unclebuck, Londonfog and Carne Seca ever get tired of being assholes? Did you guys get your asses beat all the time in high school? You can each answer on your own.

I was quite popular. The few who were so much bigger I couldn't handle on my own, my friends would beat the ever living fucking shit out of. I never once did pot or other drugs in school.

Ron Paul is all we have been hearing about since what 07 at least? Its old. His policies arent realistic and sound magical and fluffy on top but ignore several real world implications. The postings can pretty much all be summed up as "the whole government is fucked and we don't care about it unless we get to vote for Ron Paul". I would love to actually talk about real legislation and policy history but the Ron Paul gang around here is NWO, Ron Paul or gtfo. Its ridiculous. Nader squared.

edit:
We hate Romney just the same (at least I can say I do) but his fans aren't here. So those disgruntled Paul voters that don't go and vote are just stepping us toward a republican nomination and I know there will be a severe crack down on MMMJ. So I imagine its just being a realist even if your not the biggest fan of Obama. Its like playing football if were on 3rd down for the marijuana movement if we cant get a first down or a touchdown on this play we need to get as close to the line as possible. Obama is going to get you closer to the first down line then Romney it will most likely be a loss or maybe even a fumble and a downturn of a few years worth of progress in the community. If you think you have a better chance with a little more room then thats your gamble. Just know you have no other control over what happens to it then who you vote for in presidential and legislative elections.

First off I'm not a Ron Paul geek.I'll take your response to be first a no and then a yes.
Well look at you, the exception to the rule. You grouped us, I grouped you. It has nothing to do with high school lol. I dont have to try and prove how big my dick is on the internet. My dislike for Ron Paul is not a high school grudge but a grudge against the majority of uninformed Ron Paul supporters there are. The arrogance of being this youth movement is ridiculous. Ron Paul is a niche candidate and that's why his voters are so devoted. Most of his youth voters probably couldnt tell you what the hell the cold war was about let alone what the history of foreign relations and domestic politics have built us up to this point. They are just sheep thinking they found a new path. I have a beef with the average voter and not just Ron Paul supporters. Literally what it comes down to for me is all of the Ron Paul supporters think there holding the country to such a higher standard through the Ron Paul lenses. Yet they don't even participate in the majority of politics until the presidential election rolls around even then no one shows up. Most of these voters expect results from that one vote they place every 4 years and then say the country is failing when they dont get their way. They never even used their voice in the first place but expect some magical fairy to make America the America they want.

Some of the things I saw on Facebook after the local Ron Paul rally at Michigan State were horrendous.

It's easy to pick on Paul supporters but what about the rest? Let's talk to some Romney supporters and poke fun over that.. I heard this clip from 08, In NY they spoke with Obama voters and told them McCains policys. They agree'd with them and even liked Obama picking Sarah Palin as his VP... The ignorance is a American problem, not just a faction issue. Not that you already aren't awake to the fact, just pointing it out incase..

For sure. Its this idea that the government is being run by someone who can handle it,stop focusing on it and advance other parts of our life eventually shrinking out the real information of the world around them. The overabundance of media sources has pimped out the public's trust in the "press" to tell the truth let alone report real news events. Just imagine how much more informed people would be even if they listened to a half hour of NPR a day lol or hell even the 10 o clock news. Politics is no longer tangible to the average person because "its to complicated and boring". We need to make C-Span exciting.

Legislature drinking game. I like where that could go.

I can't help but think you're an idealist after reading this, but I know from many of your other posts that you're a wise dude. Tell me what you think about a vote for Ron Paul honestly, do you think it works against the GOP or for? Do you think Nader gave Dubya the white house? Really why should anyone have any faith in this system to ever feel like a vote matters?

I use Peace Action West to get informed for my votes and I do try to make the most of democracy. I'm not very well informed overall about the views of each member of the House and voting records and such but I try. You seem to have an idea of your own though and I can't help but feel like I am in the group you are ridiculing, although at least, I can admit I still have much to learn.

It doesn't help that every senator and congressman I have written has replied with bullshit. The worst was Richard Burr, that motherfucker. I'll have to find the letter he sent in reply to me when I wrote him asking to support MMJ in North Carolina, where I used to live. I know he wasn't necessarily the person to write to, but I write every person who represents me politically and most of them take the time to write me back, but it is always bullshit. I have no faith in any politician, so how can I truthfully support even the lesser of two evils?
