Tried and true subcool strain?

Looking to expand my genetic horizons and I'm really keen on some TGA gear. Having trouble deciding what's best for me. Ultimately I want something that flowers in 60 days after 30 days of veg. Hoping to grow 4 plants in a 4x4 tent under 600W HPS. It's summer so I can't run my DWC due to temps so I may go with coco or something. What's a good, reliable strain that could give me ~4oz per plant under that sort of schedule? It doesn't have to be crazy colors, just potent, tasty, good smoke for my patients who want something more exotic than the usual strains.

Yeah Vortex and QT were high on my maybe list. I'll look at Cheesequake. I'm looking for stability, something that doesn't hermie, something fairly uniform in phenotype, something 'predictable' ya know.

i think i am going to do cheesequake, ripped bubba, and chernobyl tonight from the tude, with hopes to get the qush.....happy 420 everyone!

So I couldn't resist the lure of Querkle. It's been raved about for far too long and I decided I would try a purple strain. Picked this over GDP and the 'purps' because TGA seems pretty damn awesome. Hope I made a good choice for my needs! Thinking 30-45 days of veg and 60 days of flower. 4 plants under a 1000W... can this strain yield 4oz each grown that way?

Trust me on this one m8, querkle is one of my top three favorite strains of all time. 45 days of veg just won't cut it, even under a 1k light. Its a very very slow vegger, especially if you land eurkle dom pheno's. Your best bet is to at least giver it 60 days, and I recommend topping, lst. Get her to a nice bush, and she will reward you when harvest rolls around. Querkle is just one of those many strains that the little added veg time, goes a long long way on the yield department. ya i would go with the cheesequake over the quarkle jus because ur lookin to shortin ur veg time, u can veg the cheesequake less and still get a good harvest but like mixedmelodymindbender said u gota give the querkle a good time to veg out i can agree with that from experience, most purples besides the orignal purple indica from humboldt need a good time to veg to get a good crop, i would also give that qrazy train a go, the bloodwreck dioxide used for the hybrid is a amazing plant

Well, I have a 400W veg chamber and will have a 4x4 tent for flowering. My thoughts were to top them at node 2-3, and train them for 4 main colas each. Get them to about a foot tall and hope for 1oz x 4 per plant x 4 plants. If it takes a couple more weeks in the veg closet that's fine! Ideally my rotation will end up with a 60 day veg, 60 day flower yielding an lb every other month. Hopefully perpetually. Just got to find the best mother in my batch.

This isn't even mentioning Qush, which may just provide something that becomes the main crop!

I could'nt agree more. I have grown train wreck and I do attest it is more potent than querkle. But for me, I personal enjoy the taste of querkle over qrazytrain. Most of my pheno's smelled and tasted like burnt rubber with that classic querkle undertones. Great plant and yields well. Thats grande solution KB's!

just got some chernobyl from them. seedlings are still early but doing great. i will post results. just in soil until i get my chiller for my hydro system.

And considering Attitude is sending me a crops worth of free seeds including some autos, I have all the time in the world to get my Querkle's in ideal flowering shape without waiting for medicine! Happy 4/20 lol!

If done right you'll do better than that, I had 2 small urkle dom phenos that were 12 or so inches tall and one that I topped and trained into a bunch of decent sized heads, no real plan just kinda topped and trained as needed rather than with some purpose but the larger one was maybe 16" or so and they turned out more than 4 zips. You'll be more than happy with whatever you get out it once you taste it.

Yeah, I know the smoke will be worth it. It's consistently rated a top strain for quality. I don't need large commercial production. Quality with decent yield is preferable to quantity with average quality.

Its safe to say she isnt a commercial producer but the nugs are like rocks, hand someone a gram of it and they'll accuse you of robbing them until they get a whiff or look at it. Very tasty, not super potent but more than potent enough, I really wish I kept querkle around but I needed a new cut of it. Next time I grow it I'll definitely be keeping her around permanently but I want to try the space queen dom cut before I settle on which one to keep.

Yeah i think thats the unanimous verdict. And in my eyes its dead on. Like I said, Querkle is without doubt one of the very best tasting strains out. Its def in my top three of top smokes. To me, I prefer it out a clean iced bong, for me it does'nt get any better.
