I noticed they add a sort of pseudo-disclaimer, but it's worth expanding on.

This is one of those memes that refuses to die. It’s a zombie-meme, the terminator of myths, one of those ideas of popular culture that everyone knows but is simply wrong – the idea that individuals can be categorized as either left-brain or right-brain in terms of their personality and the way they process information. Related to this is the notion that any individual can either engage their left brain or their right brain in a particular task.

I am not criticizing you or saying it's not fun, just adding context. The left side of my brain demanded so.

The questions and available answers are retarded, i decided no to bother due to the meaningless nature of the results. Sorry :(

Emmm the test is retarded, it asks questions that are not mutually exclusive and wants a single answer. I'm trying to answer it but i fell like i'm lieing because i know what each of the answers mean and agree that in many cases both are correct.

i mean really who doesn't have hunches?, or put anything away in a specific place?

lol this isn't that serious you guys are acting like its an official test. It's just a general test for fun. Yes, there are some question you would choose both answers, you can't so pick the one you feel stronger about.

i cant edit my post either i was trying o paste my results in there but can't.

18 left 0 right..... but thats the same score it gives me no matter what i answer for the questions.......

I might as well just take a quiz on myspace for what this is worth :) Hence why i called it retarded.. :)

And feeling stronger about one of the answers doesn't work either, i like both answers and which answer i feel stronger about depends entirely on the situation at hand :)

Well I do find it interesting that science guys tend to answer left brained. My results were identical to Ryan's. I think it does tell you something fun and interesting about a person. I just think it's important to point out the distinction. The results are based on the questions, but the questions aren't based on any sort of real science. Believe it or not there are some employers who base hiring on meaningless personality tests such as these. In that case it is retarded, in this case it's just for fun, and anyone who doesn't see that must be right-brained retarded.

Now we have to discuss what fun actually is though. Geometry could be considered "just for fun". To me however it's not. So the notion of this ebing "just for fun" i only applicable to a certain type of person.

the question about geometry vs algebra Is basically (do you use visual aids to create numbers, or do you create diagrams from numbers.)

Left side right side of the brain work together. Corpus calloseum (spelling). Over activity causes seizures. Under activity causes imprinting and learning disability. The brain develops neurons depending onthe parts that are used more. These sorts of things are not based on anything and the right brain left brain is a misnomer

My use of geometry as an exmaple had nothing to do with the question about geometry, just an example of what one person might find to be fun, and that others don't.

Please don't take me too seriously, i'm just being argumentative because i've nothing better to do. Not the best trait :/

i used my left side for 18 of the questions and my right brain for 0... that's a pretty strong answer imo... i tend to be logical and like to know and follow the rules, and am reality based..
spot on m8, lol...

I would like to have an argument.

I am not sure what someone might or might not find fun is relevant. My point was if anyone finds this information useful for anything other than fun, they are retarded. If they happen to find it not even useful for fun, that is a different story.
