You sure it was a cop and not just someone dressed up as cop,so he could scam you out of all your equipment.It was crazy. They didn't even arrest me because the jail is full. Told me I had about a week and he was gonna call me and have me turn myself in. Then i'll bond myself out. They took most everything though. Both hoods and ballast. My 150 sunsystem....my inline fan...but get this shit- they left my 4 foot tall carbon filter 2 small maxwing hoods both sets of my easy hangers. all of my nutes, my seedling tray and top and heating mat....What the fuck.
The cop took all my info and was like, "'ll call you in a week".....um, ok?lol
I had 3 seedlings of bag seed, 1 BEAUTIFULLY revegged Superbud...I don't even thing I have any pictures, and I had a white Rice that had revegged and an ICE clone I have had in clone for over a year, that was just started to reveg.....
I was so stressed after they left because I was fully prepared to go to jail. They were gonna ask me to snitch, i'd politely pass and then they'd take me downtown. It kinda feels like a dream, however, my grow room is very empty at the moment.Oh, well, time to move to cali

Ok,so you've been in prison before..are you on parole? I guess if you were,they would have taken you right in. Did they come in with a search warrant? I didn't see anyone ask this question. If they didn't then you are good,just as long as you did NOT invite them in. If they did have a search warrant,they came to gather evidence,provide info to the D.A., and let them decide if it is worth prosecuting. That is why they will "get back to you in a week". If it was a personal grow,and you did not have a scale,baggies,or any pricing information written anywhere you won't be charged with sale or attempt to sale unless you sold to someone and they ratted you out. Good luck with everything! If it turns out O.K.....Get you ass down here to California!

Let me paint a better picture for everyone:
I was in my bedroom tending to my American Terriers new litter of puppies and my other dog starts going crazy at the front door. So i knew someone was there, however when I opened the door to look, its a fucking sherrif. Big one too. He introduced himself and asked if he could come in and talk to me. I said, no we can stay on the porch, he insisted again and again I said on the porch. So we started talking and he told me that the sherrifs department had been given information that I had a grow op. He asked if they could come in and look around(3 cops, 3 sherrif cars)I said no. He procceded to tell me that they could go and get a warrent if they had to but they wanted me to cooperate.After talking/arguing for a few minutes, and after they said that they had to clear the house to make sure no one else was home, I gave em permission. They were gonna search my fucking house anyways. I guess its a legal loop hole for them.
After that, there was no point in hiding anything, so I tried to be very polite and in return they were also very kind. Probably the nicest police i've ever encountered in a situation where i was getting in trouble. They let me asnwer the phone when my GF called. She was upset and I was trying to calm her down, all the while the cops were bagging up evidence, listening. I saw one of the officers smile real big when I was calming her down telling her it would be ok. In hindsight I now believe that he knew that I wasn't going to jail. Anyone who has expereince with the police know that they like to make you sweat.
Look everyone, I'd like to belive that they weren't cops, but all the equimpent in their cars, the radios, the police trailer that took away my stuff. It was all very convincing...lol
ALso, please keep in mind i'm not in the city. Small town type area.

Just gonna carify that these dudes told me that they had to "clear the house" to make sure no one else was there. I mean wtf? I never planned for that. These bitches said they were gonna go through my house and check for people, so yup, I told em they could come in.
Its easy to say what your gonna do when cops show up at your door, but when they are saying that they have been told that YOU have a grow op, and they are gonna search the house for people anyways, PLUS the fucking K9 unit. That looks like game over to me.
I"m just growing a little weed anyways.

90 percent of ppl convicted of crimes get convicted because they admitted to it.....they had no evidence except for heresay and that why they couldnt come in and they knew it!!! they will tell you whatever lie they can to get you to agree to let them in..and you poor guy...you did!

Sweat? sweat you say? They handcuffed a friend of mine here that grew, medical state I might add. His card had expired although he has a valid reason for having a card and kind of a valid reason for having it expire (he has no work so therefore no money to renew) , he was in his underwear, handcuffed in his own front yard sitting where they had put him while they went thru his shit. they tossed a stun 4 feet from him and when he asked why the fuck they did that the pig says its standard procedure. fuck the police.

Can you give us some general area of where in the country you live? I've lived in 3 general areas and if it's in the country in the South I got one idea of the pigs if you live in the country NE I gotta different idea if you live in the SW minus cali well you're fucked...

by the time they said theyll be back you could have had shit moved, but it happened so its just something you can use in court, or maybe just deny the fact they ever came like kermit said. k9's can smell a cheeseburger and act like its weed, they have those sort of flukes all the time. when your under that sort of pressure i understand none of that really processes, just for future reference dont let them disregard your rights that way, they absolutely need a search warrant to come into your house at all. they'll try to say they smell something but this still isnt probable cause unless your operating a vehicle, they may be able to get a warrant after they say that to a judge but till then they cant really do anything. if they smell stuff, say your baking cookies or something, they cant really call you wrong.
