Romney will win, it is just such a waste of time to even discuss any other option. The Pres has done nothing, forigen policy is the only good thing his admin has to offer up but now (close to election time) the Russians are knocking him down. The Syria thing will be the only fp the media will talk about from now to election time and he is not going to strike Syria as long as Putin does not give in. The Russians have a port there with war ships, no way we even think about sending in Air Strikes.

The Pres is done, these are his last few months in office. He tried and he had his chance the first two years but did nothing. The health care thing will die in the Supreme Court and he will be left with nothing. I respect the guy but time is up.

some of those construction workers are still out there working two+ years later. and construction workers don't build highways and bridges with their bare hands, materials and supplies are involved.

plus, when you're all done, you have a wider highway or bridge to show for it . i routinely sit in traffic way less since they widened the highway. that means less gas wasted, less money wasted, for every single resident who uses that highway. not to mention the businesses that move goods and services over that highway not having to waste as much gas and money.
