Apparently it doesn't support your lifestyle... You earn two years worth of income in 9 months and need to rely on handouts? And you've been doing this for 10 years? And haven't saved a dime? I hate to pick on you but this is bad practice. It's an abuse of the system. Do you look for work during your 3 month break? Perhaps consider a different profession?
You're twisting my words. I said I work harder in 9 months. I never said I make 2 years of income in 9 months. I make roughly 24k in those 9 months. Of course I saved. The money I did save was used to buy a house. I have dependents to think of, not just myself too. No, I do not look for work for 3 months because no one is going to hire somebody and waste time and money on training when they'll be leaving in 3 months. Tried it. One of the questions on the application is "Do you have a definite date of recall?" I'm less of a burden than most recipients, the gov't knows I'll be off it soon enough. Consider a different profession? Not so easy. I have 10 other people that rely on me coming back and doing my job. Most have the same last name as me. As other people said my family is paying the taxes. My situation in life is different than yours, different than the next guys. This isn't the land of lollipops and gumdrops that you make it out to be. I don't know. I think it's pretty ignorant and selfish to cast blame on me, not knowing anything about me or the good honest life I lead. I think it comes down to helping people. You don't like to.
