In your situation that makes sense. In mine, it would be a sick joke. cni know, but $5k would barely be a dent in the fender of the family fortune if i ever actually had something catastrophic happen health-wise.

Nope, obviously someone making $50k can probably afford $42. But everyone is different if they have 5 kids, all girls, all in junior and high school - then NO. The amount of money that household pays out in toilet paper alone would cripple most budgets.$42 is real, even if the plan is shitty.
are you saying a single person making $50k a year can't afford $42 a month? is it better that they go uninsured and inevitably pass their costs onto the rest of us?
With a shitty plan who do you think will pay for it in the end? Someone has to pay somewhere.$42 is real, even if the plan is shitty.

Better than editing a post, but keep deflecting and ignoring the real problem.i think it's funny that you reply to yourself.
now go find the actual obama quote, kid.
a family of seven making $50k is not the same as a single person making the same. a family of 7 on $50k would be subsidized to be able to afford quality insurance.Nope, obviously someone making $50k can probably afford $42. this abortion of a thread was started as an attempt to defend trickle down, but inevitably morphed into a discussion on obamacare after its constitutionality was upheld by a conservative court.Obamacare wasn't supposed to be about shitty care, was it? As I told you I don't want to read 53 pages. You still need to fill me in. I thought this thread was about how it would affect the economy or did I miss something here?
if the guy making $50k gets sick and eats up his deductible, he will be stuck with the $5k bill instead of everyone else being stuck with his entire medical bill, however large it may be.With a shitty plan who do you think will pay for it in the end? Someone has to pay somewhere.
I don't think that is what people felt they voted for.if the guy making $50k gets sick and eats up his deductible, he will be stuck with the $5k bill instead of everyone else being stuck with his entire medical bill, however large it may be.
????????????????UB, you usually use numbers that actually are somewhere near real.
maybe you should have breezed up on the bill then.I don't think that is what people felt they voted for.
This advice coming from a dolt that thinks healthcare insurance costs $50 a month.maybe you should have breezed up on the bill then.
His last check was from 2009 and most employers cover 80%. Now its cost closer to $150 a month with your employer covering 80% if he dumps it all on you (most will) it will cost you around 5k a year. Real fucking nice for those guy working their ass off at Lowes or 7-11.This advice coming from a dolt that thinks healthcare insurance costs $50 a month.
You can't make up shit funnier than this. LOL
Obama said it wouldn't cost the middle class a dime, in fact it's going to lower their healthcare premiums! LOLHis last check was from 2009 and most employers cover 80%. LOL even the press are slow they're just now catching on and saying....oh wait....college kids only have to pay 100bucks the first year and 300 the second. This is going to be exploited by the non insurable and fucking sky rocked our premiums.....idiots.Obama said it wouldn't cost the middle class a dime, in fact it's going to lower their healthcare premiums! Maybe Roberts wasn't the idiot we thought he was, Obama's got a lot a splaining to do.LOL even the press are slow they're just now catching on and saying....oh wait....college kids only have to pay 100bucks the first year and 300 the second. I did. You aren't the only one who can read.maybe you should have breezed up on the bill then.
+1I did. You aren't the only one who can read.
I still say that people don't think that a $42 dollar a month policy that won't protect them from high costs is what they envisioned. I still see bankruptcy for a lot of people because of healthcare.
I thought maybe he was "crazy like a fox", too, but he may have slowed down the prostituting of the commerce clause and put the onus on the voters/states/congress but even if it is overturned, he has opened Pandora's box in the tax and spend clause.Maybe Roberts wasn't the idiot we thought he was, Obama's got a lot a splaining to do.
bankruptcy was what happened before, especially with the ridiculous practices of insurance companies.I did. You aren't the only one who can read.
