hmm, well I did them both and I found that DWC is just way easier to maintain and the results are bout the same once rooted (aero roots faster).
 
I'm happy to hear that other people use less in their setups because it reinforces what I was told. That it's more than I'll ever need.

I am liking aero myself, but when it boils down to it you get simular if not same results with both. I just didnt want to have to deal with 24 res's, would rather deal with 4 lol

that is funny cause I actually thought about just running a small air compressor.. that big 12 port air pump is fuckn noisy man.. wanna buy mine fab? im just gonna go out and buy more of them quiet ones
 
That 80 watt unit makes about as much noise as one of the compressors you plug in to the cigarette lighter. Seems about the same as mine anyway.

I can dig it.. thats why all my buckets are hooked together with polly tube and I have a couple rez's off to the side with a float valve..
