I need tips finding a new dealer (US)

Fellow stoned citizens of the internets :blsmoke: I need your help.

I live in the mid west in a decent size city...around 3-400k population. Recently my regular dealer has been doing one of the following:

<A> Taking a giant shit :dunce:
<B> Got busted :shock:
<C> Ignoring me :confused: (oh well it was shwag anyway)

Anyway thanks to this site and a few dvds, I'll be trying my own grow...but in the meantime and between harvests I will need to find a dealer...what good advice do some of you have for seeking out someone new.

I've always found someone through old friends but my cell phone with all my old phone numbers has turned up missing. :cry:

go to a smoke shop and find someone buying blunts or papers ,, If you can strike up a conversation with them and ask if thy can hook you up or point you in the right direction,, OR find a crackhead offer them $10 to tell you where the spot is .. DONT give up your money up front NEVER

lol, unless you feel like asking your dealers for I.D. (not advised) I don't see how that's all that useful

trying to find someone online may not be too wise.. and just because someone isnt an informant doesnt mean they know how to keep their mouth closed.

...You can also try the guy at the smoke shop trying to buy some detox, you know he cant get enough!!

How's your Stoner Radar? Some people's is better than others. I can generally spot a fellow pot smoker. And I suggest you try what korvette said, you jut find someone who smokes and hit them up. When I was completely out, in a place I've never been before, I went and I rode the rails for a while, until someone got on who I fucking KNEW was a pot head. I said something like, "Hey, don't take this the wrong way, but do you smoke? Do you have any idea where I could get some?" Guy was chill as fuck. He sold me a dub of his own.

wikid: my stoner radar isn't all that great, but my girlfriend is good at spotting them...so I may give that a shot

Also thanks for the other great ideas...no commuter trains around here. I'm about to get out there and just kinda feel it out. Are malls a bad idea?

Seriously, or outside of a bar, it is trivial to find someone who smokes weed - especially if you're out having a smoke. At a brewery fest a couple weeks ago, I met a dude from the same state I'm from and after I asked him if I could buy a couple nugs he kicked me down close to a dub and refused cash ... after I'd talked with him for < five minutes ... stoners are generous when they can afford to be, and sometimes even when they can't.

seriously, or if someone rolls their own cigarettes (I do) it's a dead giveaway. a bic is a good sign, a djeep a sure sign ... a zippo is a bad sign.

Cool...and i know it's trivial...here it is especially trivial because you CAN easy find mexi-brick ass...but CONSIDERABLY harder to get good quality.

Here's praying to the cannabis gods for the bomb-chron hookup.

Update: I called my friend and he said ask to bum lighters for a cigarette..if its a bic with some resin on the bottom you are in business.

Oooh, that one's good! lol, I notice that shit too! Because a lot of times that's how I spot my own lighter when I'm with people who don't smoke bud. I'm like, NO, that's MY lighter, I know this because of the resin right THERE bitches.
